  • Patent number: 8091819
Abstract: Thin shredder blade having blade points without steps, including blade body and cutting part located on periphery of blade body and includes a blade point. The cutting part includes a primary protrusion protruding from the cutting part. The primary protrusion includes a top, an inclined plane extending between the top and blade point, and an acute angle formed by inclined plane and blade body. The plane is an inverted triangle. The cutting part further includes first and second hemlines extending from the blade body and intersecting to the blade point. A first plane extends between the top and first hemline and intersects with the inclined plane. The blade body includes a large protrusion which protrudes in the same direction as the primary protrusion. The blade sets formed by the thin blades and the manufacturing method of the thin blades are provided.

  • Patent number: 8079537
Abstract: Active protection system for a paper shredder, which includes an upper cover and a shedder plate on the upper cover. The paper shredder plate includes a touch structure, which engagingly interacts with a preferential power supply switch. When closed, the shredder plate prevents contact with the shredding blade. When opened, the shredder plate both initiates shredder normal operation, and prevents feeding of unexpected items into the shredder making accidental contact with the shredding blade. When an unexpected item contacts the safety structure, beneath the paper shredder plate, the protection system switches off the shredder power supply.

  • Patent number: 8051277
Abstract: A Programmable Arithmetic Logic Unit Cluster is claimed. The plurality of Programmable Logic Blocks (50) in the cluster are in a physically linear sequence; but, will process data in parallel when the data pathways permit. A physically linear and operationally parallel design is possible mainly due to an Internal Register Bus (30). A small subset of data from the Internal Register Bus (30) is modified by each Arithmetic Logic Unit (53). The greater chunk of information of the Internal Register Bus (30) passes, without changes made to the data, through a plurality of two-to-one-multiplexers (54) as data inputs, bypassing the Data Selection (52) and Arithmetic Logic Unit's (53) circuitry. Only the data specified as the Accumulator (41) and Carry History (31) are modified by the blocks (50). The Accumulator (41) and the Carry Output Line (44) are distributed back onto the Internal Register Bus (30) for subsequent blocks or for the Output Register File (79) by said two-to-one-multiplexers (54).

  • Patent number: 8008812
Abstract: The invention is directed to a touch-sensitive paper shredder control system. The touching feature is implemented through a series of electronic circuits, taking input from a conductive touch panel on the shredder feed throat, processing the signal, and through a motor driving circuit, stopping the mechanical parts of the shredder. The system has a touch detection circuit unit, which contains a bioelectricity controlled switching circuit to sense the conductive touch panel. The bioelectricity controlled switching circuit is configured to trigger a ground switching circuit in the touch detection circuit unit which outputs to a multifunction control circuit unit. The control circuit unit then takes care of the remaining protection issues. The touching device for paper shredders protects humans and other living beings including pets from injuries through automatic and real time monitoring. The complete control process is both safe and sensitive.
