  • Patent number: 7872698
Abstract: In the display area of the TFT array substrate, a pixel electrode, a switching element connected to the pixel electrode, a gate line connected to the switching element and a source line connected to the switching element are formed. In the terminal forming area of the TFT substrate, a terminal electrode for connecting the gate line or source line to external signal source is formed. Around the terminal forming area, a first metallic line and a second metallic line are extended below the terminal electrode. The first metallic line and the second metallic line are connected to the terminal electrode via respective contact holes. The first metallic line and the second metallic line are in different layers interposing an insulating layer therebetween.

  • Patent number: 7232979
Abstract: A microwave oven liner 11 is an injection moulding having a roof 12, a floor 14, a back 15 and two sides 16. The moulding is of food grade polypropylene, such that the liner can be washed in a commercial dishwasher. The liner is sized to be a sliding fit in a microwave oven. The roof is shorter 17 at the front than the floor to allow air circulation. Further, the roof is apertured, also for air circulation, with a series of small c. 4 mm bores 18 registering with the roof aperture 8. A lip 19 is provided across the front of the floor to retain split liquid. The external corners 20 are chamfered to clear the silicone seal 9 for instance. The floor has regularly pitched, 2 mm high ridges 21 running front to back. The ridges allow circulation of air beneath a container of food being heated in the oven having the liner.

  • Patent number: 7227839
Abstract: The invention relates to arranging the transmission of packets between a mobile communication device and a mobile communication network. At least one temporary block flow is set up, and data is transmitted in packets in packet data traffic channels in a first direction from the mobile communication device to the mobile communication network. At the end of the transmission, information about the end of the block flow is set in the last packet, wherein the receiver of the packets acknowledges packet reception. After the end of the transmission of packets in said first direction, a determined time is waited until an acknowledgement is transmitted. If, while waiting, the mobile communication network detects a need for transmission of packets in the second direction from the mobile communication network to the mobile communication device, at least one packet data traffic channel is set up for data transmission in said second direction.

  • Patent number: 6477378
Abstract: A method and corresponding apparatus for use by a low power radio frequency (LPRF) device intended to communicate with other LPRF devices on an LPRF band when both the LPRF band location and its width can vary by country, the invention for determining in what country the LPRF device is being used, and so the band and bandwidth that should be used, and for ensuring that the LPRF does not communicate on an LPRF band that is not likely the correct band, or is not a band indicated by a user. The invention assesses clues to determine if any particular country is reasonably likely to be the country where the device is being used, and if no such country is determined, and if a user interface is available, the device queries a user.
