Abstract: A toggle spring for a circuit breaker operating mechanism which provides better performance and reliability is provided. The toggle spring includes a unique spring eye having a back hook portion extending around a spring shank so as to dramatically increase the force supportable by the spring eye. The toggle spring is provided having a body portion having a first end and a second end. A first spring eye extends from the first end of the body portion and a shank extends from the second end of the body portion. A second spring eye extends from the shank and includes the back hook portion which extends around the shank.
Abstract: A neutral lug assembly for coupling neutral wire conductors to a neutral plate in the panelboard is provided, the neutral lug assembly includes a generally u-shaped bracket adapted to be electrically coupled to the panelboard neutral plate and having first and second stair-step shaped side portions. A cross strap having a first end secured to the first side portion, a second end secured to the second side portion and a middle portion. A securing means is provided for securing the first and second end of the cross strap to the first and second side portions of the bracket, wherein the securing means electrically couples the cross strap to the first and second side portions. A connector is coupled to the middle portion of the cross strap for coupling at least one neutral wire conductor to the bracket.

Abstract: A racking assembly is provided for racking a circuit breaker into and out of electrical switchgear having a cell adapted to receive the circuit breaker and a cell door for enclosing the circuit breaker within the cell, the racking assembly includes a shaft having a first end adapted to be coupled to the circuit breaker and a motor coupled to a second end of the shaft for applying a rotational torque to the shaft. An anti-rotation assembly is coupled to the motor for preventing the motor from rotating when it is applying the rotational torque to the shaft.
Abstract: A molded plastic current limiting circuit breaker includes an interrupter assembly that includes an over-molded magnet, arc stack, baffle stack, and a chamber liner in which a trip unit is described.
Abstract: There is provided an enclosure that encapsulates a current transformer by utilizing a snap together design while allowing for electrical coupling between the transformer and external wiring. Two housing members will snap together while capturing the transformer in a rigid fashion to avoid excess vibration or friction, which could fatigue the transformer's wiring.

Abstract: There is provided a distribution system and a wiring format which will not only provide for a common enclosure, which will help to centralize the entrance of services to a facility, but will also organize the services throughout the facility. In particular, the invention includes a signal distribution module that directs input signals to appropriate output signals throughout the facility. The signal distribution module will provide for easy installation and reconfiguration of the signal distribution system.
