Abstract: The subject of the present invention is a method of obtaining fibrous carbon materials by carbonization of cellulosic fibrous materials carried out continuously or batchwise in the presence of at least one organosilicon compound. Characteristically, said organosilicon compound is chosen from the family of cyclic, linear or branched polyhydrosiloxanes which are substituted with methyl and/or phenyl groups and the number-average molecular mass of which is between 250 and 10 000, advantageously between 2 500 and 5 000.

Abstract: The present invention concerns a returnable case comprising a bottom member 1, left and right side members 2L, 2R and front and back side members 3F, 3B, wherein the front and back side members 3F, 3B are formed foldable inward in a two fold state to the bottom member 1 and, in addition, formed to be detachable. A pair of claw insertion openings 1f are provided on the bottom member 1, and the width (breadth) thereof is formed wide, and at the same time, the lower part of the member forming the claw insertion opening 1f is opened. Thereby, it can be loaded not only by the fork lift but also by the hand lift. The left and right side members 2L, 2R and front and back side members 3F, 3B are joined by a lock member 4.
Abstract: A superconducting quantum-bit device based on Josephson junction has a charge as a first principal degree of freedom assigned to writing and a phase as a second principal degree of freedom assigned to reading. The device comprises a Cooper-pair box comprising first and second Josephson junctions defining a charge island of the Cooper-pair box closing up onto a superconducting loop. A read circuit comprises a read Josephson junction JL inserted into the superconducting loop and having a Josephson energy Ej at least 50 times greater than the Josephson energy of each of the first and second Josephson junctions.

Abstract: A method and system for forwarding packets within containers in a data communication network. Each container may include packets or additional containers. Packets/containers are stored within containers in a predetermined format that includes a Type field, a Length field and a Value field. The Type field includes an indication whether the respective packet/container is the last packet/container in the respective sequence. The Length field specifies the Length of the following Value field and the Value field comprises the payload, which may comprise additional packets or containers. A header, such as an MPLS shim header, is applied to containers to be transmitted over the network. Containers are closed and scheduled for transmission once when it is determined that the addition of a packet/container to the overall container would exceed a predetermined maximum container size or when a timer measures a predetermined time period from the arrival of the first packet within the container.
Abstract: A stool marker formulation for oral administration and suitable for use in CT Colography including a material adapted to provide marked stool which has a modified response to radiation relative to unmarked stool. Radiologically scanning the colon of a patient treated to produce marked stool produces data which can be manipulated to provide a representation of the colon including where present, a polyp. The active ingredient is preferably barium sulfate which has been destabilised to reduce its resistance to flocculation.
