Abstract: The present invention is a waste incinerating method and a device for the method, characterized in that, using a combustion furnace (111) incorporating a high temperature resistant coil-shaped flue (117) and having flue heating means and a thermo sensor (128), while maintaining the temperature inside the flue at a high temperature by suppressing an air feed amount and a temperature of the heating means, exhaust smoke produced by the combustion of waste is passed through the flue for complete combustion to completely eliminate the exhaust smoke. Because any harmful substance such as dioxin is not exhausted, the method and device are suitable as the incinerating method and incinerating device for inflammable waste.
Abstract: Movable contact unit of the present invention comprises a plurality of dome-like movable contacts made of electrically conductive metal sheets capable of making an inflective action when depressed, a base film having an adhesive layer for retaining upper surfaces of the plurality of movable contacts, and a plurality of press-down projections bonded by adhesive to an upper surface of the base film in positions corresponding to center portions of the respective movable contacts, wherein the upper surface of the base film and underside surfaces of the press-down projections are each provided with a pretreated layer. The above structure has an advantage of strengthening the bonding between the adhesive and each of the pretreated layers formed on the adhering surfaces of the base film and the press-down projections, so as to provide the movable contact unit with outstanding reliability in maintaining the bonded condition for a long duration.

Abstract: A pulsation reducing system for a fuel line of an internal combustion engine, especially for an automotive engine equipped with an electronic fuel injection system is provided. The system includes a fuel delivery rail, a fuel tank, and a longitudinal main fuel pipe. A first flexible tube is arranged between the fuel delivery rail and the main fuel pipe. A second flexible tube is arranged between the main fuel pipe and the fuel tank. A small-ID tubular portion is arranged within the first tube or near the connecting portion of the first tube. The inside diameter of the small-ID tubular portion is smaller than that of the main fuel pipe. The length of the small-ID tubular portion is set between 10 to 50 times the inside diameter of the small-ID tubular portion itself. Thus, standing waves and resultant pressure pulsations caused by the fuel delivery rail are reduced by the small-ID tubular portion.
Abstract: A billet produced by continuous casting having little central segregation, in particular a billet of high carbon steel produced by continuous casting, and a manufacturing method therefor are provided. In the continuous casting billet, the size of the dendritic equiaxed crystal in a billet central portion is reduced to be not more than 6 mm. For this purpose, electromagnetic stirring is performed so that the inclining angle of the primary dendrite within 10 mm of a billet surface layer is increased to be not less than 10°. Furthermore, the mechanical soft reduction is performed during continuous casting so that the diameter of the center porosity in the billet central portion is reduced to be not more than 4 mm. Abstract: A polishing cloth mounted on a turntable is dressed by bringing a dresser in contact with the polishing cloth for restoring the polishing capability of the polishing cloth. Abstract: This invention presents a gallium nitride phosphor with superior light emitting characteristics, its method of manufacture, and a display device which uses the phosphor. By heat treatment or microwave irradiation of gallium nitride phosphor powder in an ambient containing essentially no H2 or H2O, a phosphor is produced wherein the amount of H2 and H2O gas evolved when heated in a vacuum is less than or equal to 0.2 cm3/g of phosphor and 2.0 cm3/g of phosphor respectively.

Abstract: A tape feeder feeds electronic components by advancing a tape intermittently. The tape feeder comprises a motor controller for controlling a motor, which rotatively drives a sprocket to advance the tape, and a communication unit for receiving a control signal from a control unit of an electronic component mounting apparatus and transmitting a control parameter such as a rotating speed, an amount of rotation, and acceleration and deceleration pattern to the motor controller. The tape feeder has such a structure that a tape advancing speed and an amount of tape advancement are easily changeable according to a type of the electronic components by changing the control parameter of the rotating speed and the amount of rotation of the motor.

Abstract: For an arm type valve gear in which a lash adjuster is mounted between an arm pivoted by the rotation of a cam and a valve stem, it is a goal to reduce the axial length of the lash adjuster and to suppress wear at the contact portion with the valve stem. An engaging hole is formed in an arm pivoted by the rotation of a cam at a position corresponding to the top end face of a valve stem. A lash adjuster received in the engaging hole includes a nut member, an adjuster screw in threaded engagement with the nut member, an elastic body biasing the adjuster screw toward the valve stem, and a ball joint to reduce the axial length of the lash adjuster. Further, by bringing the bottom end face of the ball joint into surface contact with the top end face of the valve stem, wear at the contact portion is suppressed.
