Abstract: A component supply apparatus includes a component feeding device for feeding components to a component feeding path, with the components arranged in a row while the components are being agitated by air, and a path forming member having a curved path extending from the component feeding path to a component supply position, for guiding the components fed from the component feeding path to the component supply position by changing a direction of each of the components by a predetermined angle. A plurality of air supply holes are provided at plural portions of the curved path for feeding the components fed to the curved path to the component supply position.

Abstract: A catalyst comprising an iridium supported on at least one carrier selected from the group consisting of metal carbides and metal nitrides for eliminating nitrogen oxides in exhaust gas in the presence of oxygen in excess of the stoichiometric quantity of oxidizing components for reducing components. The catalyst is effective for eliminating NO.sub.x in exhaust gas from lean burn engines such as lean burn gasoline engines and diesel engines containing excess O.sub.2 corresponding to an A/F ratio of 17 or over.
Abstract: An antenna switching apparatus for selectively connecting an antenna to either a transmitter for transmitting a transmitting signal having a transmitting frequency, or a receiver for receiving a receiving signal having a receiving frequency, which is different from the transmitting frequency, includes an antenna terminal electrically connected to the antenna; a transmitting terminal electrically connected to the transmitter, and a receiving terminal electrically connected to the receiver. A receiving filter for passing a receiving signal therethrough is electrically connected between the antenna terminal and the receiving terminal. An impedance adjusting element is electrically connected to an input end of the receiving filter, and has an element value such that an impedance when seen from the antenna terminal looking toward the receiving filter becomes substantially infinity at the transmitting frequency.

Abstract: A paper supplying device includes a pair of opposite upper and lower paper supplying rollers, each having a hemicylindrical portion defining an increased frictional circumferential surface having a frictional force greater than the remaining surface of the respective roller. A pair of feed rollers are arranged on a downstream side of the paper supplying rollers at a distance shorter than a circumferential length of the increased frictional circumferential surface of the paper supplying rollers. A rotation change over device drives the paper supplying rollers in changeable rotational directions between a regular rotational direction and a reverse rotational direction. A pair of upper and lower assist rollers are arranged with a bundle of manuscript sheets placed on a paper supplying tray therebetween. The assist rollers are rotated in the same direction synchronously with the paper supplying rollers.
