  • Patent number: 7531782
Abstract: A solid-state image sensor includes a plurality of light-receiving elements arranged in a light-receiving area, and a plurality of micro-lenses corresponding to the light-receiving elements, and has a flattening film formed on the plurality of the micro-lenses. At a center of the light-receiving area, the micro-lenses are placed in positions directly above corresponding photodiodes, and placed in positions which are progressively offset from positions directly above the corresponding photodiodes, towards a center of the light receiving area, as micro-lenses are located farther from the center of the light-receiving area.

  • Patent number: 7298966
Abstract: In a recording device, a playback buffer is provided between a TS decoder and an AV decoder and an internal memory is provided within the AV decoder. This being so, a video frame which is being played precedes a video frame which is being received, by about six frames. This time interval between reception and playback poses a problem when manual recording is performed. To solve the problem, the same video frames which are to be played by the AV decoder are stored in a record buffer. In this way, even if the time interval exists between reception and playback, the currently played video frame and subsequent video frames can be read from the record buffer and written onto an HDD.

  • Patent number: 7152564
Abstract: In an air intake system, a rear tower having an interior space is provided on the top surface of a body frame. A rear pillar having an interior passageway is mounted on the rear tower. An air intake port communicating with the passageway is provided in the rear pillar, and the passageway and the space within the rear tower are connected together. An expansion silencer is connected to the space of the rear tower and an air cleaner is connected to the expansion silencer. The top surface of a working oil tank is lower than the upper end of a side plate to form a space above the top surface, where the expansion silencer is provided. A base bracket is mounted to the air cleaner, a support bracket is mounted on the side plate, and the base bracket is mounted on the support bracket to support the air cleaner above the expansion silencer.

  • Patent number: 5803285
Abstract: A cork cap having a head and a leg and adapted to be inserted in a bottle mouth. A cork is press-fitted in the cap so that its bottom end protrudes from the bottom of the leg and is pressed against the inner surface of the bottle mouth to seal the bottle mouth. The cork can be pulled out by pulling the cork cap while twisting it. Protrusions are formed on the inner periphery of the tapered inner surface of the head between adjacent ones of a plurality of vertical ribs. The protrusions bite into the cork, thus keeping the cork strongly coupled to the cork cap even when the latter is pulled and twisted. Thus, the cork can be reliably pulled out together with the cork cap by twisting and pulling only the cork cap.
