  • Patent number: 7650615
Abstract: A method and apparatus for permanently rendering data recorded on an optical disc unreadable, comprising a slotted alignment plate and a scarifying component. A disc rests against the plate so that the slot traverses the disc. The scarifying component slides through the slot and contacts the disc surface, thus creating an optically disruptive groove across a surface layer of the optical disc. This disruptive groove can pass through the index and data region and prevents access to previous data and information stored on the disc.

  • Patent number: 7640600
Abstract: What is described is a sash-style apparatus that can be comprised of two strips of material. The two strips of material can be configured such that in one configuration the first strip of material lies substantially behind the second strip of material and in a second configuration, the two strips of material can be minimally parted to reveal the mother's nipple and allow an infant to breastfeed. The mother can feed and bond with her infant, without exposing her breast.

  • Patent number: 7574628
Abstract: A novel click-less tool system for performing user input device actions on computer systems, such as mouse clicks, automatically and without the need to mechanically perform these actions. All input is carried out by moving the cursor only. The system provides a user with visual trigger windows arranged near the position of the cursor on the screen and which becomes visible for a short period of time whenever the user mouse/input cursor stops. When the user moves the cursor and hovers over one of the visible activator windows, the click-less tool program automatically performs a preprogrammed action, then places the cursor back to where the user stopped before the trigger windows were visible. Once the action is performed the trigger windows disappear.

  • Patent number: 7538577
Abstract: A mechanism within an electronic system for adapting a field programmable gate array (FPGA) to a flash memory device that supports a synchronous serial peripheral interface (SPI) by coupling a small amount of MSI logic with the FPGA and the flash memory device, to configure the FPGA to a designed configuration state. The system comprises a first and additional FPGAs that support a serial configuration interface, SPI flash memory, and a parallel-load 8-bit shift register. SPI flash memory is initialized with a first configuration data pattern that is read from SPI flash memory and applied to the FPGAs during a first device configuration process resulting in the FPGAs each attaining a designed configuration state. The SPI flash memory is subsequently initialized with a second configuration data pattern by means of the first FPGA. Each FPGA attains another distinct designed configuration state by a second device configuration process.

  • Patent number: 7531732
Abstract: A sheet music holder comprises a golpe board with a non-porous surface for gluing onto a guitar body with a porous surface, a twist lock power-assisted suction device, a clamp with a single tightening nut, and a sheet tray to hold the sheet music. The twist lock power-assisted suction device allows a user to easily create a strong vacuum attachment that will last for hours so a complete performance will not be interrupted. The golpe board is included where the guitar body has a porous surface that would otherwise frustrate the suction attachment. The double-ball and socket clamp and arm allows a variety of positioning possibilities for the user to best read the sheet music in the tray.
