  • Patent number: 8267338
Abstract: Safety inlet apparatus for a shredder paper feed opening includes upper cover, safety cover, paper feed passage block, and elastic member. A safety cover end section covers the shredder paper feed opening, and rotatably couples to the upper cover. Paper feed passage block is positioned between shredder paper feed opening and elastic member, and the safety cover pivots to the upper cover. Paper feed passage block is slidably arranged on the upper cover near shredder paper feed opening, connecting to the safety cover second end section. Elastic member ends respectively connect to the upper cover inner wall and the paper feed passage block. Paper feed passage block may be fixed to, or integrated with, the second end section, or may limit a stud on the second end section.

  • Patent number: 8204721
Abstract: Predictive Split Lot Emulator, and methods simulating integrated circuit performance variations, before IC fabrication. The emulator receives a split lot parameter, maps the split lot parameter onto an IC element model, and transforms the IC element into a predictive IC element model. The emulator uses the predictive model to determine simulated performance characteristic of the IC element model. Also, a predictive split lot analyzer, a CAD simulation system, and a PDK including the emulator. IC simulating methods include choosing a Split Condition from a Split Table; a Predictive Split Lot Emulator receiving the Condition, determining a Split Parameter Condition Perturbation, mapping the Perturbation into a Model Parameter Perturbation for an IC element, and storing the Model Perturbation for an IC element into a Model Parameter Perturbation Library. The Perturbation Library emulates IC element performance characteristic in a Split Condition.

  • Patent number: 8185969
Abstract: A protective head gear for a user having an outer panel, an inner panel, a retention pleat on the inner panel, a respirator, and an indexed fastener. The outer panel is disposed relative to the inner panel to provide efficacious spatial separation therebetween. The fastener is formed to adjustably and releasably secure at least a portion of the inner panel to the user. An indexing element is attached to the fastener, and is formed of material substantially tactilely different from the fastener, the outer panel, or the inner panel, to permit the user to unambiguously locate the point of fastening. The outer panel, inner panel, and respirator, can be composed of fabrics having one or more layer, and one layer can have a repellent characteristic different from another (e.g., hydrophobic vs. hydrophilic).
