Patent number: 7146945Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus for an internal combustion engine which for each cylinder with associated piston has at least one inlet valve and at least one exhaust valve for controlling the connection between the combustion chamber in the cylinder and an intake system and an exhaust system respectively. A rotatable camshaft with a cam lobe is designed to interact with a main rocker arm and a secondary rocker arm, the two rocker arms serving to transmit the movement of the cam lobe to the inlet/exhaust valve. The cam lobe is arranged to act on both of the rocker arms during each revolution of the camshaft. The secondary rocker arm interacts with a hydraulic piston, which is displaceable in a hydraulic cylinder and which forms part of a hydraulic circuit having a hydraulic fluid source, and which permits switching between at least two different working positions.Type: GrantFiled: February 13, 2006Date of Patent: December 12, 2006Assignee: Volvo Lastvagnar ABInventor: Per Persson

Patent number: 7131811Abstract: A system for the deep racking storage of pallets includes at least one pair of rails which are intended for supporting pallets. The rails are of sufficient length to support several pallets. A carriage is positionable on a pair of rails and drivable therealong for moving the pallets. Each rail has an upper, longitudinal support surface and a lower, longitudinal rolling surface. The support surface is intended for supporting the pallets, while the rolling surface is intended for the carriage. On each rail, the support surface and the rolling surface are interconnected to one another by the intermediary of side walls. The side walls together form a space which tapers from above and downwards for aligning a carriage when this is lowered towards the rolling surface.Type: GrantFiled: April 13, 2005Date of Patent: November 7, 2006Assignee: EAB ABInventor: Bo Melin

Patent number: 7131810Abstract: A carriage for transport of a load, for example a load pallet, along a rail pair in a so-called deep racking store, has a carrier arrangement which, in a deactivated transport position, passes under a load resting on the rail pair. The carrier arrangement is disposed, in an activated lifting position, to carry the load from beneath so that it is free of the rail pair. The carriage has a supporting frame or chassis provided with at least four wheels. The carrier arrangement is rigidly connected to the frame or chassis and each wheel is journalled in an associated arm. The arm is pivotally journalled in the frame so as to be able to raise and lower the wheel in relation to the frame. The arm is operated by an operating device.Type: GrantFiled: April 13, 2005Date of Patent: November 7, 2006Assignee: EAB ABInventors: Bo Melin, Christer Larsson, Mikael Hoof, Daniel Karlsson

Patent number: 7091273Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for preparing an aqueous polymer dispersion comprising: preparing a dispersant co-polymer of a monomer mixture (M) by polymerising the monomer mixture (M) in a reaction medium which is substantially free from organic solvents and/or substantially free from monomers which are not soluble in water, the monomer mixture (M) comprises at least one cationic vinyl monomer (m3) and at least one monomer (m4) which is tetrahydrofurfuryl acrylate, tetrahydrofurfuryl methacrylate, or a monomer of the general formula (I): wherein R1 is hydrogen or methyl, R2 is hydrogen or C1–C2 alkyl, R3 is hydrogen, C1–C4 alkyl, phenyl, or benzyl, n=1 to 4, and x=1 to 50, and then, polymerising one or more water-soluble monomers (m) in an aqueous solution of a salt in the presence of the obtained dispersant polymer. The invention also relates to an aqueous polymer dispersion, use of the dispersion and a process for the production of paper.Type: GrantFiled: May 7, 2003Date of Patent: August 15, 2006Assignee: Akzo Nobel N.V.Inventors: Oliver Struck, Christian Przybyla, Achim Sieger, Mathias Hahn, Dirk Ruppelt, Werner Jaeger
