    Abstract: A method for measuring the thickness of a tube wall comprising mounting a cut tube onto a rod is disclosed. At least two contact tips are moved into contact with the tube. The tips are imaged with an optical system when the tips are in contact with the cut tube. The optical image is converted into a measurement.
