  • Patent number: 6131529
Abstract: The present invention provides a design for a water going vessel hull and a method for determining useful hull design, and particularly multihull design, with emphasis on applicability to smaller trimaran vessels operating as displacement hulls but at speeds comparable to planing hulls. The present invention further relates to a trimaran design that includes a slender displacement type main hull with two outrigger hulls. More particularly, the invention relates to a boat hull that utilizes planing hulls or slender ellipsoidal displacement hulls as outrigger hulls, and an ellipsoidal hull (preferably, one which is longitudinally non-symmetric with and without a transom stern) as a main hull.

  • Patent number: 6022221
Abstract: The invention includes a teaching machine that presents questions to the user who responds with answers. Graded interval recall is accomplished by storing the exact time and date when the user learns a correct answer. The machine determines the presentation mode and review schedule for each unit according to the length of real time that has elapsed since the user learns the material. Precise timing is designed to bridge the threshold between short-term and long-term memory by interrupting default sequencing of material to review items at an exact preset interval from the time the user learned the material.

  • Patent number: 5967099
Abstract: The present invention relates to a nitrous oxide injection device and system, and a method of installation of the device and system, and, in particular, to a self-contained, easy to install nitrous oxide device that provides fuel delivery that varies with nitrous oxide tank pressure by way of a manifold that is pressurized by a bleed orifice from the nitrous oxide source. The pressure from the manifold is transferred by a connection to the fuel pressure regulator of the vehicle, so that fuel delivery varies proportionally to the pressure of the nitrous oxide source.
