    Abstract: The specification is directed to a method for enhancing the light fastness of dyed and undyed nylon textile fibers and to the treated fibers produced thereby. The beneficial effect is obtained by applying at least 3 parts per million colloidal phosphate to the fiber by exhaustion from an aqueous medium; the treatment being effected either before dyeing, simultaneously with or after the dye has been applied to the fiber.
