Abstract: The present invention provides for an improved process for catalytically dewaxing and thereby reducing the pour point of hydrocarbon feedstock by contacting the feedstock and hydrogen with a catalyst. Specifically, the catalytic dewaxing process of the present invention involves contacting the hydrocarbon feed with hydrogen under catalytic dewaxing conditions in the presence of a catalytic composition comprising a crystalline borosilicate molecular sieve and a hydrogenation component consisting essentially of nickel.
