Patent number: 5050331Abstract: A cleaning apparatus for a gun or pistol which cleaning apparatus has a base and a vise for securing the barrel of the gun in parallel relationship to the base. A cleaning rod is positioned axially with the barrel of the gun and slideably attached to a mounting which is affixed to the base. A stiffening rod is likewise slideably attached to the base through the same mounting used to support the cleaning rod. One end of the cleaning rod and the stiffening rod is coupled to a crank, so that rotation of the crank will move the cleaning rod into and out of the barrel of the pistol being cleaned. The vise used to support the pistol is rigidly secured to the base through either a slot or a rail. Patent number: 4909696Abstract: A method and apparatus for loading a refrigerator box which has a door along one side and insulation in all of the surfaces of the box including the bottom. The invention specifically relates to devices for loading the box using a pallet loaded with prepackaged material such as ice. The insulation in the bottom of the box is divided into three parts; the insulation along one side, the insulation along the opposite side and then the center insulation portion.The method is accomplished by removing the center insulated portion and rolling a pallet loaded with prepackaged material into the refrigerated box using an ordinary transportation vehicle such as a lift cart. Once the vehicle has moved the pallet of prepackaged material into the refrigerated ice box or container, the transportation device is then lowered so that the pallet will settle onto the pieces of insulation on each side of the box. The pallet is wrapped with a material to form a first assembled unit. The unit is then placed in a freezer having a temperature at or below 20.degree. F. for a period of time sufficient to set the product. Once "set", the unit is boxed in a rigid container having sidewalls and a lid. The improvements in the tow bar consist of constructing each of the arms so that they can be telescoped during the connecting or disconnecting phases of the tow bar and also can be automatically locked in the extended position when the towing vehicle begins to pull the towed vehicle. The easel is attached to the base and is formed of upwardly extending members which are pivotally attached at one end midway along the length of the base. The easel is formed with first and second writing surfaces attached between and on each side of the upwardly extending members to form writing surfaces on each side. The writing surfaces are attached above the upper surface of the base by an amount which will permit the easel to rotate about the pivotal attachment at least fifteen degrees from the vertical or normal to the surface of the base. In the preferred embodiment, one writing surface will comprise a chalkboard, while the remaining side will comprise a dry-wipe board. A handle may be attached to the top of the easel for ease in transportation from one location to another. The final foam casting is made in a two (2) step process. Next, a casting is made using a specific procedure so that the bird is cast in the final pose desired. Special slots are made to insert the tibia and the tail portions of the bird. An additional provision is made for the insertion of a heavy wire for giving structural strength to the bird body and for mounting the neck and/or head of the bird.
