Abstract: An apparatus for the processing/handling of the anus/rectum of slaughtered animals, comprising a cutting arrangement mounted in a housing for the cutting-over of the connection between the anus/rectum and surrounding tissue, the cutting arrangement comprising a cavity defined by a cylindrical blade with cutting edge and an extension. Displaced in the cavity, substantially parallel with the axis of the cylindrical blade, there is a mandrel/hollow profile connected to a source of a second under-pressure on the inside of the mandrel/hollow profile and for emptying of a part of the intestine/rectum. A pump is provided for handling/removal/sucking-out of a disinfection substance supplied to the cavity, the pump being separated from the source of the second under-pressure and comprising an arrangement for establishing a first under-pressure in the cavity.
Abstract: In order to produce pellets or agglomerates in an economically feasible manner from clarified sludge which contains disease-causing bacteria and which is dewatered in a solid mantle worm-gear centrifuge (11) and is subsequently thermally dried in the centrifuge housing (14), and which satisfy the conditions of being hygienically unremarkable and also storage-stable, according to the invention it is proposed that the clarified sludge pellets (25), still hot or warm due to thermal clarified sludge drying, are held at their temperature in a sanitizing apparatus (26) for a dwell time of at least 10 min and thus sanitized and additionally dried.
Abstract: In a device for filtering the intake air of internal combustion engines, including a tubular housing (2) with one filtering cartridge (3) fixed at an end by means of support means (4) provided with an inlet opening (5) and fit to support the housing (2) in correspondence of a lower opening (9) thereof, the filtering cartridge (3) is fixed to the support means (4), near the edges of the opening (5) so forming a single body, and is internally provide with air deflectors (6) fixed at the free end of the filtering cartridge (3) in such a way that the air flow coming from the opening (5) is forced by the air deflectors (6) to pass through the filtering cartridge (3) and comes out from the device (1) through an outflow opening (7), passing through the space between the filtering cartridge (3) and the external housing (2).
Abstract: An apparatus for interfacing between a mobile switching center (MSC) and an inter working function unit (IWF), comprising an inter-system link protocol (ISLP) processing part for processing a plurality of subhighway (SHW) data inputted respectively through SHWs in the unit of subscribers according to an ISLP. The ISLP processing part further separates data transferred over a given channel of an E1 trunk from the IWF according to the SHWs and their time slots and transfers the separated data respectively to the subscribers. A dual port random access memory (RAM) stores the subscriber-unit data processed by the ISLP processing part in the unit of channels or the data transferred over the given E1 trunk channel from the IWF in the unit of the subscribers.
Abstract: A composition for prolonging battery life by reducing water loss and the degradation of properties due to dendritic precipitation, is refreshingly added to a battery electrolyte. By the refreshment of the composition, battery cycle life is substantially increased while degradation of the internal battery components is substantially reduced.

Abstract: A method of processing the connecting surfaces between a marine engine frame and an associated bearing support, which parts wholly or partially surround a crankshaft is presented. The bearing support is removed to expose the connecting surface of the engine frame facing towards the bearing support. An auxiliary plane is established which is set-up/extended along the centerline of the crankshaft, and a second line at right-angles to the centerline. In situ processing of the connecting surface of the engine frame is effected at an angle which is a function of the position of the auxiliary plane. It is thus possible to process the connecting surface of the engine frame facing towards the bearing support without the necessity of having to remove the engine frame itself, and to carry out the processing of at least this free connecting surface, while the actual bearing support can be processed in the normal manner.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a universal joint shaft which includes a driving shaft and driven shaft engaged to a driving yoke and driven yoke which are arranged in an installation position and have opposite both front ends which are distanced and a rectangular cross section in a radius direction, and a three-divided joint formed of connection shafts and having a cross section in a radius direction to correspond to the driving shaft and driven shaft for implementing a radius direction slip and rotational force transfer between the driving shaft and the driven shaft, wherein the universal joint shaft includes a driving yoke and a driven yoke for transferring a rotational force in an inclined state at a certain angle.
Abstract: An operative unit (1) advances containers (2) along a conveying line (3) and transfers the containers from the conveying line to one weighing station (4) and vice-versa. An endless conveyor (6) of the operative unit passes through the weighing station (4) and a sliding track (S), on which the containers (2) move, is disposed parallel to the conveyor (6). Moving modules (70) are removably fastened to the conveyor and move the containers (2) on the sliding track (S) A platform (8) forms a portion of the sliding track (S) and is situated in correspondence to the weighing station (4). The containers (2) supported by the platform (8) are temporarily disengaged from the moving means (70) and placed in the weighing station (4).

Abstract: A rotatable coupling structure for a shield and visor of a helmet includes a rotation shaft unit installed at both sides of the helmet body. The shield includes a rotary shaft inserted into a shaft hole in a circular rotation plate member through insertion guide portions at both ends. The visor includes a respective rotary shaft inserted into a shaft hole in the circular rotation plate member. The piston floats with respect to the cylinder and the frame and comprises a portion which is external to the cylinder and is adapted to act with an impulsive action on the breechblock in order to recock the firearm upon firing.

Abstract: An antenna for a mobile communication terminal in which part of an antenna rod is slidably mounted into an assist antenna rod such that the antenna may be selectively extended in one or two stages. Abstract: A diagnostic apparatus including a terahertz generator taking the form of a femtosecond laser exciting either an optoelectric crystal of a photoconductive dipole antenna the terahertz radiation is directed onto a target preferably held close by or abutting an enclosure including a reflection receiving window and housing terahertz detector for detecting terahertz radiation. Preferably the terahertz radiation generator forms part of the receiving window. The enclosure has a modified atmosphere to permit ready transmission of terahertz radiation. A beam splitter is positioned between the laser and the terahertz generator to split off a probe laser beam from the terahertz inducing laser radiation which is also directed to the detector means. The output from the detector being determined by the amplitude of that part of the reflected teraherz radiation wave coaligned with the probe laser at the detector.
