  • Patent number: 7614338
Abstract: A piston 1 which is to be movably supported in a cylinder 11 of a pump 10 to be reciprocally driven is formed by a fluororesin so that it is not impaired by a corrosive liquid. A cylindrical outer peripheral portion 2 of the piston 1 has a thickness of 1 mm or less, and is flexible. The outer peripheral portion has a flange portion 7 in an open end portion via an approximately 180-degree folded-back portion 3. The flange portion 7 is attached to the cylinder 11. When the pump 10 is driven, the cylindrical outer peripheral portion 2 of the piston 1 smoothly rolls without producing deflections or bends in a gap between the outer peripheral face of a piston support member 15 and the inner peripheral face of the cylinder 11, while being in close contact with the two faces.

  • Patent number: 7603777
Abstract: A toroidal type stepless speed changer including input and output disks (10) and (12), power rollers (20) provided between the disks with supporting shafts (28) thereof outwardly protruding, a single movable ring (30) with which the outer ends of the power roller supporting shafts (28) are engaged, the single movable ring being movable in the direction of the disk center shaft (14) with turning thereof being restricted, and a single adjustment belt (48) capable of making reciprocal motion in its turning (circumferential) direction so as to move the movable ring (30) along to disk center shaft. By the movement of the movable ring (30) in the disk center shaft direction that is caused by the reciprocal motion of the adjustment belt (48), the inclination of all the power roller supporting shaft is varied, thus changing the rotational speed between the input and output disks.

  • Patent number: 7604597
Abstract: A specific cavity extractor extracts an isolated group corresponding to a left ventricle from among a plurality of isolated groups to which numbers are attached in a labeling section. A major axis slope calculator section sets, as a left ventricle major axis, a straight line passing through a center of mass calculated in a center-of-mass detector section and a major-axis end point detected in a major-axis end detector section. A cavity cross sectional area calculator section calculates a cross sectional area of four cavities for each of a plurality of cutting planes including the left ventricle major-axis. An optimum cross section setter sets, as a four-cavity cross section, a cutting plane in which the cross sectional area of the four cavities becomes maximum.

  • Patent number: 7605325
Abstract: A display device that displays a selected pickup is provided in a volume control that adjusts the volume of a performance. The display device is formed by a light guiding body, and by two types of LED that emit light in different colors, for example, a green LED and a blue LED, and are packaged on a printed circuit board. The green LED is turned on when the front pickup on the neck side is selected, so that a display portion on the light guiding body is displayed in green. In contrast, the blue LED is turned on when the rear pickup on the bridge side is selected, so that the display portion is displayed in blue. When both pickups are selected, both LED are turned on so that the display portion is displayed in both green and blue or in a combination of these colors (i.e., in cyan).

  • Patent number: 7593072
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a display device that can be manufactured more easily than the conventional one. To accomplish this object, an image control panel part (7) which is continuously provided with combination base units including optical transparency base units and optical no-transparency base units, and a lens film part (6) which is continuously provided with repeating units of lenses (8) are laminated in a direction of light transmission, and either one width of the optical transparency base unit or a pitch of the repeating unit of the lens is set so as to be the integral multiplication of the other width. Since the moiré´ fringes can be prevented by setting either one width of the optical transparency base unit or the pitch of the repeating unit of the lens 8 so as to be the integral multiplication of the other width, it is not always necessary for the display device of the present invention to change a pitch of the mold for manufacturing the lens film part 6 randomly.

  • Patent number: 7589915
Abstract: It is to provide an optical element, an optical module holder including the optical element, an optical module, and an optical connector that can attenuate with high accuracy an amount of light coupled between an optical transmission line and a photonic element using light refraction, thereby realizing appropriate optical communication while reducing manufacturing costs. A light attenuating refractive surface 7 is formed on an optical surface 4 disposed on an optical path between an optical transmission line 2 and a photonic element 3 in a main body of the optical element. The light attenuating refractive surface 7 attenuates the amount of light coupled between the optical transmission line 2 and the photonic element 3 by refracting and deflecting incident light.
