Abstract: An irrigation sprinkler provides a more even distribution pattern of water over a given area being irrigated by providing a controlled rotation in a wobbling water deflector. A sprinkler base has a nozzle attached thereto and a water deflector rotatably attached to the base. The water deflector and the nozzle each have a plurality of gear teeth thereon which gear teeth are different in number between the water deflector and the nozzle so that they only partially mesh when the water deflector is rotated on the base. The gear teeth also assure that the deflector cannot spin freely causing high rpm.
Abstract: A music and math teaching system teaches fraction computations utilizing musical note names and note values in the form of blocks with varying lengths while simultaneously teaching rhythmic topics of time signatures, beats, and tempo. A rhythm board is used to mount note blocks and beat blocks in the process and a blind is used to block the vision of a student working with the blocks.
Abstract: The present invention relates to an irrigation sprinkler head having a removable weighted collar thereon. The sprinkler head has a tapered water inlet for wedging a weighted collar having a matching tapered opening therethrough.
Abstract: This invention relates generally to the stabilization of watercraft, such as kayaks and canoes, and especially to the stabilization of a kayak to allow an individual to stand or move in a kayak without the kayak rocking or rolling over. The pontoon assembly is mounted to a kayak which allows for extending a stabilizing pontoon individually on each side of the watercraft and locking the pontoon at an operative position. Each pontoon can be rapidly raised to a rest position for paddling the kayak or canoe.
Abstract: A process of purifying air includes selecting a room vapor generator having a housing having a floor mounted therein for generating a stream of air therethrough and having at least one possibly charged probe positioned in the air stream for generating positive ions in the air stream and at least one negatively charged probe positioned in the air stream for generating negative ions in the air stream. The negatively charged probe is spaced from the positively charged probe in the air stream. A liquid storage container is located in the housing and has means for dispersing liquid in the container into the stream of air adding a liquid mixture containing nitrogen, free citrus extract and colloidal silver into the liquid storage container and vaporizing the liquid mixture in the air stream for dispersing the liquid mixture into the surrounding air along with positive and negative ions.
Abstract: A rod holding apparatus has a tube having ground penetrating stakes at one end for attaching into the earth for removably supporting a fishing pole or umbrella or the like. The rod holding apparatus incorporates a slide hammer for driving the stake into the ground.
Abstract: A method for adding a candle wick to a candle includes selecting a wick cavity forming tool having a heated elongatable tip having a stopping edge formed thereon, then heating the elongated tip and inserting it into a wax candle to form a bore therein having softened wax therearound. A wick is inserted into the candle bore created by the heated wick cavity forming tool while the surrounding wax is still soft. Excess wax can then be removed from the candle so that the wick is formed in the candle. The process may also include removing an existing wick from the candle prior to adding a candle wick thereto and adding a plurality of wicks to a single candle and to the cutting of the wick to size.
Abstract: A golf ball and tee setting apparatus allows a golf tee to be set in the ground and a golf ball placed thereon without the golfer having to bend over. An elongated shaft has two end portions and a ball supporting member on one end portion of the shaft and a bore on the other end of the elongated shaft. A golf tee is releasably held in the shaft bore for insertion into the earth. The shaft can then e rotated to a golf ball supporting end and a golf ball placed on the tee.
Abstract: A curb opening filter apparatus is provided for removably attaching over a curbside opening for a storm drain. The filter apparatus has a frame which can be interconnected with similar frames to adjust for different size storm drain openings. The curb opening filter has a system for vertically attaching a filter apparatus over the curbside opening.
