  • Patent number: 6780273
Abstract: The process for making a picture frame having printed border artwork on a transparent front panel with irregular outer and inner edges and having an attached rear panel having a picture frame folding stand therein. The process includes the printing of border art on a sheet of a material having a covered pressure sensitive adhesive backing and attaching it to the front panel. The front panel is then laser cut along the computer marked cut path to cut along the outside and inside edges of the printed border artwork while cutting a window therein. The cutout window is removed and a thin transparent polymer sheet is attached thereover. A picture frame back is cut with a foldout stand and is attached to the front panel to form the picture frame.

  • Patent number: 6764083
Abstract: A method of converting a vehicle into a utility structure includes the steps of selecting a used vehicle having a vehicle body having seats therein and at least one door and a plurality of wheels. A support stand is selected for attachment to at least one of the wheel studs of the vehicle for supporting the vehicle on a surface and replacing each of the plurality of wheels with a support stand. The process includes attaching the support stands to the vehicle wheel studs and removing one or more seats from the vehicle. The process may also include the step of removing the engine and fuel tank from the vehicle and placing the vehicle wheels in storage in the vehicle body for later use in moving the utility structure by replacing the support stands with the wheels. The support stand has an elongated post having openings therein for fitting over the axle hub and onto the lugs and a flat base for supporting the post on a surface.

  • Patent number: 6749862
Abstract: A method and composition for deterring wood damage, such as caused by woodpeckers. The method includes blending Isophorone with an epoxy resin and acrylic based sealant to form a resin composition and mixing the resin composition with a solvent resistant epoxy hardener to form a coating material. The coating material is then used to coat a wood surface to seal and coat the wood for deterring woodpecker damage to the wood. The composition may include clay and flocculated silica thickeners therein. The coating composition includes Isophorone blended with an epoxy resin and micro-capsules of acrylic and is mixed with a solvent resistant epoxy hardener. The Isophorone will not blend with the epoxy compound but blends with the acrylic resin and disperses throughout the coating composition. The solvent resistant epoxy hardener is used in connection with the epoxy compound, acrylic resin and solvent Isophorone.

  • Patent number: 6722535
Abstract: The present invention relates to a flammable liquid storage container having a container body and a pouring spout attached to the body and extending therefrom. A handle is attached to the container body for supporting the container. A cutoff valve is located in the pouring spout pouring end portion having a slidable valve element for cutting off the flow of liquid from the container when in a closed position. An operating handle operatively connects the valve element from moving the valve element between an open position for pouring a liquid from the container in a closed position for shutting off the flow of liquid from the container. A vent chamber is located outside the container body and is sealed from the atmosphere when the valve element is closed. The vent chamber opens to the atmosphere when the valve element is opened and also forms a pressure relief valve for opening when a predetermined pressure is reached within the vent chamber.
