Abstract: Clip-on utensils and methods of use therefor, wherein the handle end of the utensil incorporates a clip for securing the utensil to the edge of a plate, bowl, glass or cup. The clip portion of the utensil is opened and subsequently positioned over the tableware edge, wherein the clip is subsequently released; thereby, gripping the edge of the tableware and securing the utensil thereon. When at rest, the clip portion forms a planar combination with the handle thereby imparting strength to the combination over that of the handle alone. Various alternative clipping means are described.

Abstract: An adjustable utility light having a body section, two independently movable hooks, a pivoting lamp section having fluorescent tubes and/or light emitting diodes, a component retention tray, at least one keyhole mounting slot, and a movable reflector, wherein the pivoting lamp section and the movable reflector pivot about the same pivot axis.
Abstract: The present invention provides a new and useful clothes protector cover comprised of a rectangular left sheet, a rectangular right sheet, and a plurality of grommets located on the upper edge of each of the sheets. A clothes hanger, upon which an item of clothing may already be hung, is threaded through a grommet on the left sheet and a corresponding grommet on the right sheet and hung on the hanger bar. This is repeated throughout the length of the sheets until all items of clothing are hung on the hanger rod and thereby protected by the clothes protector cover. This provides a means by which the clothes protector cover is held in place immediately above the protected items of clothing and thereby prevents the accumulation or settling of dust on the items of clothing.
Abstract: A garment protector suitable for covering the head while trying on wearing apparel to prevent staining or soiling of the wearing apparel from dirt, facial oils, makeup, or the like, wherein the garment protector is comprised of two sheets of tissue paper substantially secured together about their periphery, leaving an opening for insertion of the wearer's head therethrough. Tabs extend downward from the open portion of the periphery, wherein the tabs are removably insertable in the wearer's clothing/undergarments to secure the garment protector in place prior to trying on the wearing apparel.
Abstract: A variably-adjustable grill light with a lamp portion having pitch, roll and/or yaw adjustability, along with a telescopic arm, wherein the grill light can be installed and then selectively adjusted without the need for removal so that it will shine on any selected portion of the grill, or, alternately, the lamp portion can be removed without removing the clamp from the handle for portable use or to shine on other surfaces. This provides a grill user with the ability to easily see the condition of the food being cooked and provides visibility during application of spices, sauces or other condiments.
Abstract: A music box movement having a mechanism to impede or cause rotation of star wheels, wherein spaced points on the star wheels pluck the tines of the musical comb to perform a desired series of musical tones. In its preferred embodiment, the mechanism comprises activating arms with rods having tips thereon, wherein the tips contact the surface of the star wheel and only permit rotation of the star wheel when the tips are withdrawn via activation of a computer-controlled solenoid. Alternatively, again via a computer-controlled solenoid, the mechanism actively causes movement of the star wheel by pushing against, or pulling via hooks, the star wheel points to cause rotation. In lieu of a solenoid, computer-controlled electromagnetically-engaged plates in communication with the activating arms are selectively utilized to adhere to a rotating drum, thereby moving the activating mechanism.
Abstract: A convertible dual stroller and methods therefor is provided for seating at least two children side-by-side when fully expanded, a single child when partially expanded and partially collapsed, and which is fully collapsible for storage. A secondary stroller portion is fixedly secured with a primary stroller portion and the secondary stroller portion may be collapsed when the convertible dual stroller is partially expanded and partially collapsed to seat one child while the primary stroller portion supports and transports the secondary stroller portion while the secondary stroller portion is collapsed.
Abstract: A sheller for vegetables and fruits, particularly for legumes, having a rotatable drum with baffle plates having openings formed therethrough. The baffle plates are disposed such that the openings thereof are radially oriented opposite from one another to control dwell time of legumes in the drum.
Abstract: A device and method for providing support to a toilet bowl suitable to sustain the weight of an obese or otherwise large individual. The device comprises a support bar placed underneath the toilet and affixed to the toilet wall support, and a leg between the toilet bowl and the floor. The leg is hinged to allow folding thereof to facilitate cleaning under the toilet bowl.
Abstract: A tennis training apparatus, and method of use thereof, for improving a forehand and/or backhand of a tennis player. The apparatus includes a wristband, an āLā-shaped bracket attached to the racket, and an inflexible strap linking the L-shaped bracket to the wristband. When the strap is tightened, it causes the wrist to bend backwards in extension at an approximately ninety degree angle to the forearm. A second component of the training aid is a restraining plate in the form of a torso attachment worn by the player, wherein the torso attachment retains alignment of the player's hand, hips and shoulders; thereby, forcing the player to rotate his hips to perform a stroke. An alternate training apparatus comprises a plate affixed to the base of the handle of the tennis racket. The player's forearm rests against the plate and the plate restrains the player's wrist angle at approximately ninety degrees.
Abstract: A dosimeter based on a gas electron multiplier and method of use thereof for measurement of doses of therapeutic radiation to which a tissue-phantom is exposed. Subsequent to the in-phantom measurement and verification of radiation beam delivery, radiation can be effectively delivered to a human target organ, based on the verification of radiation quantities to which the phantom was exposed. Use of a gas electron multiplier-based dosimeter facilitates precise and accurate verification of the radiation dose within a phantom by taking measurements in real time, with no need for subsequent film processing.
Abstract: A tennis training apparatus and method of use thereof, for improving a forehand and/or backhand of a tennis player. The torso attachment may be subsequently employed or removed during two-handed backhand strokes. The tennis training apparatus significantly improves the power and control of strokes, and also reduces and/or prevents the risk of developing tennis elbow.
