Abstract: An electroluminescent display includes an electroluminescent panel, and at least one brightness enhanced film. The electroluminescent panel has a plurality of sub-pixels, and at least one illumination surface. The brightness enhanced film is disposed on the at least one illumination surface. The brightness enhanced film has a plurality of micro lenses, and the width of the micro lens is smaller than half of the minimum width of the sub-pixels.
Abstract: A method for reducing Time To First Fix (TTFF) of a Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receiver includes storing ephemeris information into a non-volatile memory, and utilizing the ephemeris information to determine a GNSS time, in order to reduce the TTFF. An apparatus for reducing TTFF of a GNSS receiver includes a storage module and a processing module coupled to the storage module. The storage module is utilized for storing data, wherein the stored data in the storage module is non-volatile. The processing module stores ephemeris information into the storage module and utilizes the ephemeris information to determine a GNSS time, in order to reduce the TTFF.
Abstract: A communication module coding a first original header signal as a first check signal by a first coding means, and outputs an output header signal by whitening the first original header signal and the first check signal with a clock code according to a second coding means. A method for the communication module includes obtaining the output header signal; generating a guessing clock code; dewhitening the output header signal into a second original header signal and a second check signal by a third decoding means with the guessing clock code; utilizing the first coding means to form a third check signal from the second original header signal; and comparing the third check signal to the second check signal. The third decoding means decodes the output header signal into the first original header signal and the first check signal while the guessing clock code is substantially the same as the clock code.
Abstract: A paper feeder includes a base plate, a movable paper holder for holding papers with a pivot fixed to the base plate and a rotating end positioned above the base plate in a rotatable way, a chute positioned on the bottom or the upper side of the movable holder, and an elastic device or a swing arm with one end positioned within the chute in a slidable way.
Abstract: A paper cutter includes a main board and a cutting member. The main board has a side blade attached to an engaging side for positioning of a document, and a slant surface formed at a front portion of the engaging side. The slant surface extends outwards from a predetermined position of the engaging side to form a first acute angle, and the slant surface further extends outwards from its upper edge to form an obtuse angle. The cutting member includes an edge blade fixed on one side for engaging with the side blade of the main board for cutting the document. The edge blade extends outward from its top side so as to form a second acute angle with the flat surface of the side blade.
Abstract: A NOR type mask ROM includes a plurality of main bit lines formed in parallel with each other, a plurality of first sub-bit lines connected to the main bit lines through bit line contacts, a plurality of T-shaped second sub-bit lines each having a vertical arm formed in parallel with the main bit lines, and a horizontal arm formed in perpendicular with the vertical arm, and a plurality of third sub-bit lines each formed in parallel with the main bit lines and between vertical arms of two neighboring second sub-bit lines.
