Abstract: Carrier packages are constructed to tightly secure articles within the packages. The carrier packages include end webs that partially close the ends of the packages and retain articles within the carrier package.
Abstract: Cartons have dispensers that allow ease of access to articles accommodated within the cartons. A carton has a back panel, a top panel, a front panel, a bottom panel, a first end panel, a second end panel, and a dispenser/stand pattern disposed in the top panel and the front panel and defining a dispenser/stand. The carton is capable of being placed in a dispensing configuration in which the dispenser/stand provides a dispenser opening and supports the carton in an inclined position. The dispenser/stand is connected to the front panel when the dispenser/stand supports the carton in an inclined position.
Abstract: A carton for carrying a plurality of cylindrical containers in at least three rows having a dispenser flap that is easily removed from the end of the carton to expose a dispenser which has a bottom of a sufficient height from the bottom panel to prevent containers in the bottom row from rolling out, but less than a diameter of a container in the bottom row. This carton also has a panel dispenser flap that is easily removed from a top or bottom panel of the carton to expose a dispenser which has a bottom of sufficient height from the end of the carton on which it is resting while dispensing containers to prevent the containers in the bottom row from falling out, but less than the diameter of a container in the carton.
Abstract: A carton for holding a food product. The carton has a plurality of panels that extend at least partially around an interior of the carton. The plurality of panels comprises a front panel, a back panel, a first side panel, and a second side panel. The front and back panels each have a curved edge at an end of the carton.
Abstract: A knit fabric may be formed by providing a plurality of cylinder needles and a plurality of cutting needles having a cutting surface. A first yarn may be fed to the plurality of cylinder and the plurality of cutting needles to form loops during a knitting cycle. A second yarn may be fed to the plurality of cylinder needles during the knitting cycle so that the first yarn and the second yarn having a plated relationship on the plurality of cylinder needles. A pile may be formed on the knit fabric by cutting the loops on the cutting needles with the cutting surface.
Abstract: An electronic poker table and method provide an electronic poker game to a plurality of players. The electronic poker table includes a table having a table top with a playing surface, a plurality of electronic player interaction areas located around a periphery of the table top, and a game computer. Each electronic player interaction area provides a player interface for interaction with one of the players. Each player interface has a rabbit button. At least one hand of the electronic poker game is administered using virtual cards. A winner for the at least one hand is determined and a pot is awarded to the winner. The hand includes at least one common card and, after the winner has been determined, a player may view any undealt common cards by actuating the rabbit button.

Abstract: A fabric can be formed by a process comprising providing a knitting needle and providing a sinker. The sinker can include a first end and a nib. The first end and the nib can form a groove for receiving a yarn. The first end in or near the groove can have a first abrasive surface for abrading the yarn during knitting. A knitting needle can have a shank with a first edge and a hook. The knitting needle can have a latch having an outer region. At least a portion of the first edge and at least a portion of the outer region can have a second abrasive surface for abrading a yarn during knitting.
Abstract: A carton has a removable dispenser that forms a dispenser opening in an upper corner of the carton. The corner opening allows articles to be easily removed from the carton while preventing unwanted dispensing of articles from the carton.
Abstract: A man-machine interface which provides tactile feedback to various sensing body parts is disclosed. The device employs one or more vibrotactile units, where each unit comprises a mass and a mass-moving actuator. As the mass is accelerated by the mass-moving actuator, the entire vibrotactile unit vibrates. Thus, the vibrotactile unit transmits a vibratory stimulus to the sensing body part to which it is affixed. The vibrotactile unit may be used in conjunction with a spatial placement sensing device which measures the spatial placement of a measured body part. A computing device uses the spatial placement of the measured body part to determine the desired vibratory stimulus to be provided by the vibrotactile unit. In this manner, the computing device may control the level of vibratory feedback perceived by the corresponding sensing body part in response to the motion of the measured body part. The sensing body part and the measured body part may be separate or the same body part.
Abstract: A method for applying a heat shrinkable film to a carton for forming a shape of the carton is provided. The carton includes a top panel, a bottom panel, at least one side panel extending between the top panel and the bottom panel, and a movable section that is movable between a first position and a second position. The method includes providing a heat-shrinkable but unshrunken film, wrapping the film in an unheated condition around at least a portion of the carton including at least a portion of the movable section of the carton, and moving the movable section from the first position to the second position to form a shape of the carton by heating the heat-shrinkable film to shrink the heat-shrinkable film into contact with at least a portion of the movable section.
Abstract: A method of providing dental-related imaging data of a patient to a dental practitioner is provided, the dental-related imaging data being obtained by a third party imaging provider at a third-party imaging provider site using a three-dimensional digital imaging device. Three-dimensional image data of the maxillofacial complex of the patient is obtained with the imaging device and analyzed to form a diagnosis. A two-dimensional image associated with the diagnosis is formed from the three-dimensional image data, and the two-dimensional image and diagnosis are combined into a composite file as part of the dental-related imaging data. The dental-related imaging data is stored in encrypted read-only format executable by a standard multi-media player and made available to the dental provider in a secure arrangement. The composite file is thereby selectively viewable by the dental provider for determining an appropriate treatment for the patient. Associated methods and apparatuses are also provided.
Abstract: A method for welding parts formed of polymeric resins having different melt-index grades. The method may include the steps of selecting a tube formed of a first thermoplastic in an extrusion process, selecting a first flange formed of a second thermoplastic in an injection molding process and having a containment region sized to receive an end of the tube, inserting an end of the tube within the containment region of the first flange, and welding the tube to the flange by inducing relative rotation between the flange and the tube. The containment region may have a depth more than two times the wall thickness of the tube. Moreover, the containment region may maintain its shape and support friction pressure on a significant portion of melted material within the weld zone, so the material may continue to generate heat and conduct the same to the less easily melted material.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a fitting (8) for a vehicle seat, especially for an automotive seat. The fitting comprises two individual fittings (10, 50) that are arranged axially juxtaposed and in parallel in relation to the flow of force, and that each have two fitting parts (11, 12, 51, 52) that can be rotated in relation to each other and that are mechanically interlinked by way of an eccentric epicyclic gear defining backlash. The present invention is characterized in that the first individual fitting (10) has an eccentric that is not able to eliminate the backlash and the second individual fitting (50) has an eccentric adapted for eliminating the backlash.
