Abstract: An adaptive method and device for identification and compensation of errors in resolver output signals which can increase the accuracy of position estimates of the resolver angle is disclosed. The method utilizes the ideal orthogonal relationship of two resolver output devices to determine an error factor. The error factor is then used to correct the resolver position estimate.

Abstract: Described are novel systems for electrodeposition of paint on counter-electrodes, and membrane electrode assemblies for incorporation into such systems. In certain embodiments of the invention, electrode enclosures such as C-shaped or box-shaped enclosures include membranes sealed to secondary structural members by bonding. In other embodiments, membrane electrode cells having bumpers are mounted within paint baths in a manner wherein the bumpers are forcibly biased against the exterior wall of the bath, thereby stabilizing the position of the cells. In still further embodiments, tubular electrode cells are provided with internal valves allowing the release of liquid trapped within the tubular electrodes into the membrane shell. In this manner, removal of the electrodes for maintenance, replacement or other purposes is facilitated.

Abstract: A pushup apparatus having a centered T-Tube, right and left Slide Tube, a medial and lateral Stop Ring located on each Slide Tube. The T-Tube will contain a hole/knotch on both the right and left side that will receive the Locking Pin Assembly from the corresponding right and left Slide Tube. The T-Tube and Slide Tubes will insert into a Foot and the Foot will be finished with a Foot Grip. The right side Slide Tube has a Handle, Handle Cap, Handle Grip assembly that moves freely and independent along the linear path of the right side Slide Tube between its respective medial and lateral Stop Rings. The left side Slide Tube has a Handle, Handle Cap, Handle Grip assembly that moves freely and independent along the linear path of the left side Slide Tube between its respective medial and lateral Stop Rings. The free independent motion will be achieved by use of Linear Bearing Assemblies. The Linear Bearing Assembly is affixed within the Handle, Handle Cap, Handle Grip assembly.
Abstract: An airless dispenser pump assembly includes a pump mechanism with an inlet valve that is configured to efficiently pump viscous fluids and that is able to be pre-primed when the pump mechanism is attached to a container. In one form, the inlet valve includes a seal member that seals an inlet port of the pump and an outer support member that secures the inlet valve to the rest of the pump mechanism. Two or more legs generally extend in a circumferential direction between the support member and the seal member in order to create a large flow opening for fluid flow through the inlet valve when opened and to rapidly close the inlet valve. The pump mechanism further includes an outlet valve that is configured to draw fluid back from a nozzle of the pump after dispensing in order to minimize build up around the nozzle.

Abstract: The invention concerns a functional apparel item, in particular protective apparel having a protective function against biological and/or chemical toxicant or noxiant materials, the apparel item being equipped with a measuring appliance capturing at least one measurable quantity and adapted for determining the serviceability of the apparel item.
Abstract: HVAC systems, including various HVAC system components, and methods for manufacturing the same are disclosed for controlling airflow into a building. Embodiments of the HVAC systems include apparatuses for controlling the volumetric airflow moving through at least one HVAC system component using a measurement device, for example an airflow detector, a regulator, for example a damper or blower, and a controller, where the controller receives input from the measurement device, manipulates the input with a control algorithm, and sends output commands to the regulator. Further embodiments include apparatuses and methods for development of the control algorithm by testing a similar HVAC system component, measuring the actual volumetric airflow through the HVAC system component, and comparing the actual volumetric airflow with the airflow measured by the measurement device. Still further embodiment include forming a plurality of similar HVAC components that each control airflow without requiring further testing.
Abstract: A device and method for storing a youth potty seat on an adult toilet assembly. The device includes a support bar, a hook connected to the upper portion of the support bar, and at least one peg attached to the lower portion of the support bar. The hook is effective for hanging the support frame from the upper rim of a toilet tank, and the peg is effective for suspending a child's potty seat. The method comprises hanging the hook from the upper rim of a toilet tank and hanging a youth potty seat from the peg; thereby storing the youth potty seat on the adult toilet assembly. An extension bar may be provided to extend the length of the support bar. Multiple pegs may be used.

Abstract: The invention relates to protective clothing with a protective function against chemical and/or biological contaminants, especially for civil or military purposes, such as NBC protective clothing, with the protective clothing having a multiple-layer construction or a multiple-ply textile construction with an outer material and an inner material equipped with a protective function against chemical and/or biological contaminants, with the protective clothing being provided with at least one ventilation opening that is closed with a gas-permeable, in particular, air-permeable protective filter material that sorbs chemical and/or biological contaminants. In this way, when the clothing is being worn, the air supply and the air exchange is increased in an efficient way and the removal of moisture, in particular, sweat, and also excess body heat, is improved and thus the overall comfort in wearing the clothing is increased, without negatively affecting the protective function of the clothing.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to child musical education devices and methods. Various toy instruments are provided which incorporate simplified forms of tonal and rhythmic music visualization. A child of very young age is able to select a certain ‘mood’ or feeling and hear music which corresponds to that mood. In addition, visual representations of the selected music can be displayed on the instrument. Recording and playback functionality is optionally provided, along with rhythm accompaniments and other adjustable audio features. Certain embodiments allow the various components to be interconnected to allow maximum flexibility and upgradeability.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a system and method for visualization of music and other sounds using note extraction. In one embodiment, the twelve notes of an octave are labeled around a circle. Raw audio information is fed into the system, whereby the system applies note extraction techniques to isolate the musical notes in a particular passage. The intervals between the notes are then visualized by displaying a line between the labels corresponding to the note labels on the circle. In some embodiments, the lines representing the intervals are color coded with a different color for each of the six intervals. In other embodiments, the music and other sounds are visualized upon a helix that allows an indication of absolute frequency to be displayed for each note or sound.
Abstract: An elastic joint member (10) with at least one set of loops (12) and at least two bushes (14), which extend transversely through the set of loops (12), collars (16), which are fastened to a respective bush end (22) in order to axially support the set of loops (12) on the relevant bush (14), and an elastomeric envelope (18), in which the set of loops (12) and the bushes (14) are embedded at least in part. Also according to the invention, the areas of the bushes (14) which are left free by the collars (16) and embedded in the envelope (18) are smooth, and the collars (16) are locked onto the associated bush (14) with a clearance which is such that the bush is rotatable within the collars, while these are connected in a fixed manner to the envelope (18).

Abstract: A flexible bushing arrangement (30; 30?) has an inner bushing (32; 32?), an outer bushing (34; 34?) which surrounds the inner bushing and delimits an annular space (36; 36?, 36?) therewith, and a resilient connecting body (38; 38) which is arranged in the annular space (36; 36?, 36?) and connects the two bushings (32, 34; 32?, 34?) to each other. In end regions of the annular space (36; 36?, 36?) spacers (40, 42; 40?, 42?) are arranged which allow only limited radial relative movements of the two bushings (32, 34; 32?, 34?) in relation to each other. Each of the spacers (40, 42; 40?, 42?) is constructed in one piece with one of the bushings (32, 34; 32?, 34?) and is arranged in such a way that it may only act on the other bushing (34, 32; 34?, 32?) via the connecting body (38, 38?). Each of the spacers (40, 42) is constructed in the manner of a toothed ring.
