  • Patent number: 7934624
Abstract: The invention serves to simultaneously pour out two separate liquids with a specified quantitative ratio from a container. To this end, a separate container is located inside said container. The container closure forms a mouth cap (1). This tapers upward conically into a straight concentric spout (2) with an interior space (11). A larger, closeable spout neck (4) having a projection (5) that radially projects at the bottom is placed concentrically around the straight spout (2) of the mouth cap (1). This projection (5) is supported with supporting braces (6) an the shoulder (7) formed by the conical taper. A flow opening (9), which encircles up to the supporting braces (6), is left open between the shoulder (7) and the inside edge (8) of the projection (5) and of the larger spout neck (4). The supporting braces (6) and the radial projection (5) are each passed through by a borehole (10) that communicate with the inside of the mouth cap (1) and with the space (16) outside the larger spout neck (4).

  • Patent number: 7896155
Abstract: The invention relates to a capsule closure, the cap of which comprises a receptacle (2) that is formed on the interior of the lid and that fits into the interior of a corresponding nipple part (3). An associated film-sealed container capsule (8) can be locked into the interior of the receptacle (2), with the film facing downwards (9), so that the sealing film (9) lies against the inner diameter of the cap (1). A circular shoulder that projects inwards (10) is configured in the interior of the nipple part (3) below the inserted container capsule (8). Several fixed and/or displaceable piercing and/or cutting elements (12) are formed on the inner edge (11) of said shoulder (10). A tamper-evident strip (15) is supported on a shoulder (17) that projects radially outwards below the lower cap edge of the attached cap (1). Once said strip has been removed, the cap (1) can be pushed down onto the nipple part (3), causing the piercing and/or cutting elements (12) to cut open the film (9).

  • Patent number: 7886922
Abstract: The invention relates to a plastic closing device comprising a bottom part, a closing cap, and a cutting ring which is mounted inside the neck of the bottom part so as to be helically movable. A driving cam (16) which is axially disposed in the closing cap acts upon the non-continuously circular cutting ring when the closing cap is unscrewed such that the cutting ring perforates and cuts through the receptacle in a helical cutting movement. The cutting ring forms a ventilating concavity (6) which cooperates with the driving cam (16). The non-circular cutting ring, the bottom side of which is provided with a sharp cutting edge extending at an obtuse angle relative to the bottom edge of said ring, performs a helical cutting movement similar to an advancing knife when the closing cap is unscrewed such that the receptacle wall is easily cut by applying a minimum amount of force because a new sharp point constantly attacks the packaging material, thus preventing shredding.

  • Patent number: 7597794
Abstract: The present invention is a separation method and system in which granulation of coupled post-extraction asphalt residue is used to achieve deep separation of heavy oil. A dispersion solvent is introduced into the asphalt phase after separation by solvent extraction and the asphalt phase undergoes rapid phase change in a gas-solid separator and is dispersed into solid particles while the solvent vaporizes, resulting in low temperature separation of asphalt and solvent with adjustable size of the asphalt particles. The separation method of this invention also includes a three-stage separation of heavy oil feedstock, in which the deasphalted oil phase separated from heavy oil is treated with supercritical solvent and results in the further separation of the resin portion of the deasphalted oil, maximizing the yield and quality of the deasphalted oil.
