Abstract: A process is disclosed for removing a shrink wrapping drawn over a stack of goods. The shrink wrapping is vertically cut at one side of the stack of goods, one edge of the cut is held and secured to a winding spindle, and the winding spindle is then guided around the stack of goods so that the shrink wrapping is winded on the winding spindle that rotates around its longitudinal axis. Also disclosed is a device for carrying out the process.

Abstract: Radiator, particularly for heating rooms, including a main body defined by several radiating elements (3) having hot fluid flowing therein, each of the radiating elements being defined by at least a first and second sheet elements (6,7) having a plurality of apertures (9) for reducing the temperature on the external perimetric surface of the radiating elements; at least one of the apertures (10), besides the reduction of the temperature on said external surface, prevents the deformation of the sheet of the radiating elements while welding together the first and second sheet elements.

Abstract: Valve device for priming a pump includes a body having a first conduit connected to a pump for sucking water from a tank, a second conduit for connecting the body to a heater provided with a calibrated delivery valve for delivering superheated water, and a third conduit for discharging air during the priming of said pump, a valve for a free passage of water from the body to the heater and for the flow back of the water into the body only when the pressure inside the heater has reached a selected value near, but lower than, the pressure setting of the calibrated delivery valve.

Abstract: Divan-bed includes a fixed frame resting on the floor, a backrest and a seat, in which at least two longitudinal sides of the frame are formed by rails guiding a carriage movable in translation along a horizontal plane, the carriage having pivotably hinged on it the backrest and a shaped lever, the opposite ends of which are rotationally connected, respectively, to the backrest via a rod and to the seat, there also being provided a mechanism cooperating with an adjusting device for fixing the relative position of the backrest and seat.

Abstract: A humidifier, especially for room humidification, has a container removably mounted on a base and communicating with a sterilizing chamber to which the water is delivered and in which the water is exposed to a UV lamp with sufficient residence time to effect sterilization. From that chamber the sterile water is delivered to a heating chamber formed in a casting and communicating with a duct in the container from which the steam is supplied to the room. A thermostat on the casting cuts off the heater upon a failure to supply water to the latter. The apparatus can have a humidistat for turning on and off the heater.

Abstract: The invention relates to a modular tool system consisting of a tool holder (10) with a fitting for a cutting insert holder (11) which, when released, is radially movable in relation to the tool holder by means of an adjusting screw (17) fitted in a threaded hole (16) in one of the holders and can be clamped with the tool holder by means of clamping screws (15). To provide an alternative radial adjustment of the tools or centred fitting without facilities for readjustment without a great deal of effort, the stop is a pin (18, 30) releasably securable in the holder, whereby at least one diameter of the pin is the same as that of the pin recess in the other holder and the blind hole in the first holder (20, 29), into which the projecting end of the pin enters and the hold for the adjusting screw opens perpendicularly thereto.
