Abstract: A device for providing a moisture impervient barrier, comprises a flexible base sheet member having a layer of bentonite resting on its upper surface. A top sheet member is positioned over the bentonite and is secured to the base member by stitches extending therebetween. The stitches form either a quilting pattern or in the alternative, they can form elongated corrugated compartments filled with bentonite which will swell and break the top sheet member when exposed to water.
Abstract: A multiple sport training device which includes a stabilizing base and a vertical support. A vertically adjustable carriage is positioned on the vertical support. Connecting members extend from opposite sides of the carriage for reception of attachment members which are used for sports skills training purposes. The attachment members are rotatable around a horizontal axis so that their vertical attitude may be adjusted. Batting training devices, ball rebounders, catching nets, and batting tees comprise some of the attachment members. Additionally, the vertical support is foldable against the stabilizing base for easy storage and transport wheels are insertable into one of the connecting members to allow easy movement of the device when tilted on its side.

Abstract: A tractor front end hitch comprising a main frame removably secured to the front end of a tractor and having a pair of lower lift arms pivotally secured thereto and extending forwardly therefrom for connection to the implement. A pair of upper lift arms are pivotally secured at their rearward ends to the main frame and extend forwardly therefrom above the lower lift arms. A length adjustable float arm assembly is pivotally connected at its upper end to the forward end of each of the upper lift arms and is pivotally connected at its lower end to one of the lower lift arms rearwardly of the forward end thereof. Each of the float arm assemblies has a clevis element at the lower end which is provided with an elongated slot to permit the associated lift arm to vertically move or float relative to the upper lift arm associated therewith. A float stop pin is removably insertable into the slot in the clevis element to limit the float.
Abstract: A treating composition and method for treatment of shock and/or stress in animals. The composition comprises, in a preferred form, equal volume amounts of solutions of sodium acetate and sodium propionate. It may be administered orally, intravenously, subcutaneously, etc. The preferred dosage level is from about 0.25 cc. per pound of body weight to about 0.5 cc. per pound of body weight.
Abstract: A method of treating an adult animal to successfully resist infectious diseases includes orally administering to the animal a mixture of an animal feed and the additive produced by the following process at the rate of one to two pounds of additive per ton of animal feed:collecting bovine colostrum milk, removing substantially all of the fat from the colostrum milk, removing the casein from the colostrum milk to obtain bovine colosteral whey, dialyzing the whey, adjusting the pH of the dialysate to 4.0 to 4.5, precipitating the whey, removing the supernatant from the precipitated whey, clarifying the supernatant, adding a water, saline and phenol mixture to the clarified supernatant to obtain the desired concentration, sterilizing the mixture, anddrying the mixture.
Abstract: A manicure easel is described for selectively supporting one hand of a person in a manicure position and for supporting the other hand of the person in a position to enable the other hand to perform manicure operations on the hand being supported. The easel comprises a first support which is adapted to be positioned on a horizontal supporting surface and selectively secured thereto. A finger support is provided on the first support for supporting the tip portion of the finger. A hand rest is secured to the first support and extends laterally therefrom for supporting the hand performing the manicure operations.
