Abstract: An electronic device with an alarm clock function includes a storage unit storing at least one icon; a display unit including a plurality of display areas; an input unit including a plurality of input parts each of which corresponds to one of the display areas; a managing unit for enabling or disabling an alarm clock function; an area selection module for randomly selecting one of the display areas and outputting the icon on the selected display area; and a comparison module for determining whether the input part pressed by a user matches the selected display area. A method for controlling the alarm clock function is also provided.

Abstract: A system for optimizing analog circuit designs includes an input device, a data processing device, and a data storage device. The data processing device includes a selecting module, a calculation module, and a determining module. The selecting module is for receiving input from the input device and selecting electronic components composing the circuit from the data storage device. The calculation module is for calculating average values and standard deviations of each electronic component, generating normal distribution samples of each electronic component, and calculating output voltages of the circuit. The determining module is for determining whether the circuit meets a process capability standard.

Abstract: A hinge includes a first bracket, a second bracket, a shaft, and first and second interference elements. The shaft is fixed to the first bracket. The second bracket rotationally fit about the shaft. The first interference element is rotationally mounted on the shaft and fixed to the second bracket, and defines two unleveled surfaces at one side. The second interference element is immovably mounted on the shaft beside the first interference element, and defines two unleveled surfaces at one side facing and corresponding to the unleveled surfaces of the first interference element.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a display unit and a housing receiving the display unit. The display unit includes a display panel, a display cover for receiving the display panel, a transparent board for securing the display panel in the display cover, and a transparent frame placed over the display cover. The housing includes a front cover and a back cover coupled to the front cover. The front cover and the back cover respectively define openings aligned with the display unit. The transparent board and the transparent frame each has a size slightly larger than the openings of the front cover and the back cover, and the display panel and the display cover each has a size smaller than the openings of the front cover and the back cover. The electronic device looks like floating in the air.

Abstract: A cable clamp includes a base, a cover, a supporting plate, and a piece of foam secured to a top of the supporting plate. The cover includes a main body, a connection member and a fixing member extending from opposite ends of the main body. The connection member is fixed to a first end of the base. A latch is formed on a second end of the base to engage with the fixing member of the cover, the supporting plate is slidably installed to a top of the base.

Abstract: A universal serial bus adapter includes an adapter board, a sliding element, a receiving cover, and a pivoting element. The adapter board includes a main board, a golden finger board extending from an end of the main board, and a number of signal pins arranged on the main board. The golden finger board includes a number of golden fingers attached on the golden finger board and correspondingly electrically connected to the signal pins. The sliding element includes a main body slidably mounted to the signal pins. The receiving cover is operable to receive the main board and the main body, with the golden finger board exposed outside of the receiving cover. The pivoting element includes a board pivotally mounted on the receiving cover.

Abstract: An exemplary receiving connector adapted for connecting to an insert connector to achieve electrical connection therebetween includes a main body, a first electrode, a second electrode, and an operating member. The first electrode and the second electrode are mounted to the main body. The operating member includes an operating pole mounted with the second electrode. The operating pole is capable of being manipulated by a user to drive the second electrode to move between a first position and a second position.

Abstract: A power supply circuit for a motherboard includes a VRM, a first NMOS transistor, a second NMOS transistor, a first capacitor, a first induction coil, and a delay circuit. A gate of the first NMOS transistor is connected to a UGATE pin of the VRM. A source of the first NMOS transistor is connected to a BOOT pin of the VRM via the first capacitor and a PHASE pin of the VRM, and connected to an MCH on the motherboard via the first induction coil. A drain of the first NMOS transistor is connected to a system power. A gate of the second NMOS transistor is connected to an LGATE pin of the VRM. A source of the second NMOS transistor is grounded. A drain of the second NMOS transistor is connected to the source of the first NMOS transistor and the delay circuit.

Abstract: An exemplary insert-molded cover (10) for electronic devices includes a metallic body (11), a plastic antenna lid (12) integrally formed with the metallic body and an oxide film (12) formed on a surface (111) of the metallic body for attaching the plastic antenna lid. The present invention also relates a method for manufacturing the insert-molded cover for electronic devices.

The transmission assembly is fixed to the motor shaft and is driven to rotate around the motor shaft by the motor. Abstract: A method of auto-photographing for an image capturing device is disclosed. A predetermined time for auto-photographing is counted down. Consecutive preview images of a scene to be photographed are acquired after the predetermined time begins to be counted. Whether a moving object bursts into the scene to be photographed is detected by comparing the consecutive preview images. If the moving object bursts into the scene to be photographed, the predetermined time for auto-photographing is recounted down again.

Abstract: A lamp assembly includes a storage tank, a lamp, a liquid inlet pipe, a liquid outlet pipe and an actuator. The storage tank contains liquid therein. The lamp includes a lighting portion and a lid located at a top of the lighting portion. A flume is defined between a top end of the lighting portion and the lid. The liquid inlet pipe connects a first end of the storage tank and a corresponding end of the flume. The liquid outlet pipe connects an opposite second end of the storage tank and a corresponding end of the flume of the lamp. The actuator drives the liquid to circulate between the storage tank and the flume of the lamp to thereby dissipate heat generated by the lamp.

First to third load modules of the card receive voltage signals from the computer via the PCI interface to simulating first to third power consumption of the computer.
