Abstract: A composition that includes functionalized polymers and one or more types of particulate filler exhibits both an increased gum Mooney viscosity and a decreased compound Mooney viscosity relative to a comparable composition that includes only one such functionalized polymer. The functionalized polymers include first and second types of functionalities which exhibit a non-covalent interaction that has a bond energy of from about 0.1 to about 20 kJ/mol.

Abstract: A coating composition is based on a polyester mixed with an alkyl-etherified melamine formaldehyde. The coating composition is partially cured in a first stage to provide a thermoformable partially cured, tack-free, non-blocking, coating layer, followed by application to generally a contoured substrate and thermoforming to conform thereto. The contoured partially cured coating layer is then heat cured to form a cured coating. A hydroxyl-terminated polyoxetane containing repeat units derived from oxetane monomers having one or two pendent —CH2—O—(CH2)n—Rf groups, wherein Rf is partially or fully fluorinated, can be esterified with polyester-forming reactants to form a fluorinated polyoxetane-modified polyester.

Abstract: The present invention provides a roofing product comprising a flexible roofing membrane comprising a layer of a thermoplastic, and a batten strip integral with the roofing membrane, so that the roofing product is flexible. There is also provided a method for securing such a roofing product to a roof deck and a method for manufacturing such a roofing product.

Abstract: A media storage container has at least one media storage tray connected to a flexible cover with a mechanical connection. One embodiment of the media storage container includes two media storage trays connected together with a mechanical connection that traps an inner cover member between the media storage trays to connect the cover to the trays. Embodiments are provided wherein the inner cover member is connected to one outer cover member and two outer cover members.
