Abstract: A cleaning apparatus for removing dust from lens surfaces inside a camera inner chamber, comprising: a bulb blower, a retainer is defined with a planar annular section, for fitting over a bayonet mount ring from the camera, a frusto-conical bottomless cup sized such that the blower nozzle outlet tip and main body are releasably engaged therethrough and the nozzle inlet seat releasably lockingly abuts thereagainst, and omnidirectional spring loaded connectors spacedly interconnecting the annular section to the cup, enabling the cup to move from a first position, at rest spacedly away from the plane of the retainer annular section, to a second position about the annular section plane. the nozzle outlet tip is progressively movable through the plane of the annular section against the bias of the connectors.

Abstract: A method of use of a dusting tool for cleaning the exposed surface of a camera sensor lens in a recessed digital camera sensor chamber while avoiding contaminating contact with the side walls of the camera sensor chamber, the method comprising the steps of: providing a non-scrubbing duster member having opposite one and another ends, and a tuft of bristles having electrostatic charge built up therein; engaging the duster member inside the camera sensor chamber; operatively engaging the bristles leading edge tips onto the exposed surface of the camera sensor lens; and manually sweeping the dusting tool bristles leading edge tips over the full exposed surface of the camera sensor lens including the peripheral edge portion thereof but excluding contaminating contact with the side walls of the camera sensor chamber, while the duster member remains motionless relative to the handle.

Abstract: A loupe and lighting assembly for enhancing detection of dust particles on the optical sensor of a digital camera. The assembly is made of a cylindroid hollow-centered main frame body, into which is fixed a loupe lens. A battery housing is joined to the body in order to supply electrical power to a LED array. The LED array is made from a plurality of LED diodes mounted peripherally and around the inside of the cylindroid body, being tilted at an acute angle from the axis orthogonal to the plane of the cylindroid body so that all diodes axially converge toward a single focal point, at a certain distance from the main frame body. The dust particles scattered upon the sensor become clearly visible to an observer looking through the assembly when the dust particles location coincide with the LED common focal point.

Abstract: An anti-smear cleaning swab for cleaning delicate surfaces, comprising a body defining an elongated shaft having two opposite ends. An enlarged blade is carried at one end of the handle. A number of bores are made through the blade, these bores enabling both fluid flow therethrough and also some retensive capture of fluid droplets. A fluid absorbing cloth sheet pocket generally encloses by folding same around the blade, and is sized to fit snugly therearound.
