Abstract: The present invention provides for methods and systems for accessing a secured building. The method includes retrieving information from a code associated with a carrier and an address. The code may be a barcode with encoded information. The method further includes confirming that the address is associated with the secured building and further validating the carrier as an authorized carrier by an identification of the carrier. The method further includes validating a status associated with the information to be one of: in transit; and out for delivery. Upon positive response of the status, the method further includes allowing access to the secured building. In some embodiments, prior to allowing access to the secured building, the method further includes checking that an update to the status is within 24 hours.

The method includes retrieving information from a code associated with a carrier and an address. The code may be a barcode with encoded information. The method further includes confirming that the address is associated with the secured building and further validating the carrier as an authorized carrier by an identification of the carrier. The method further includes validating a status associated with the information to be “in transit” or “out for delivery” for delivery of a package, or “waiting for pick-up” for return of a package. The method may further include checking that an update to the status is within 24 hours. Upon positive response of the status, the method further includes allowing access to the secured building or eventually allowing access to a locker system in the building.

Abstract: In accordance with an embodiment of the present disclosure, there is provided a method of managing parking access into or exiting from a multi-residential building. The method includes: receiving a request of entry or exit in a building operation system (BOS) from an object via an interface; upon receiving the request of entry or exit, sending a validation request relating to a plurality of security parameters, from the BOS to the object, the plurality of security parameters being either randomly selected in real time or pre-selected by a user, from a list of security parameters pre-determined and stored in a server, receiving a response in the BOS, generated in real time to the validation request by the object; and upon determination of a valid response to the validation request by the BOS, sending a response to the request of entry or exit to the object, wherein the response is a denial or an approval.

Abstract: A method is presented for monitoring the use of a building area, where instruments are installed at a variety of points in a building to monitor and record parameters of interest to a building operator. The building operating system provides past and real-time information based on the parameters, and alerts a building operator when unintended events occur. The circumstances for unintended events are bundled into modes, such that by selecting a mode for a building area, a building operator is effectively selecting a set of circumstances for which alerts must be given.
