On-site components of the system are configured to operate entirely offline, and utilize the capabilities of the user device to perform any required communications over the internet. The system also operates without any required pre-configuration of the user device, so users are able to utilize the system without first installing proprietary software or creating user accounts. The system may also be configured by a facility administrator to allow varying levels of selective access filtering based on determinable characteristics of the user device. The system also generates valuable data describing the flow through and use of facilities to which access is controlled.
