Abstract: A multipurpose electrical assembly is provided that includes a module receiving an alternating current from a power source in a ceiling and converting the alternating current source to a direct current source. The multipurpose electrical assembly also includes a plurality of devices each having a first connector on a first surface for connecting to the assembly and receiving electrical power from a preceding device and a second connector on a second opposing surface for receiving a following device to be connected to the assembly and for transferring electrical power to the following device. A first device of the plurality of devices attaches to the module, and the plurality of devices can be arranged in any order.
