  • Patent number: 9128369
Abstract: A method by which optical filter structures may be applied onto a substrate that is transparent to light at least in the visible wavelength range suitable for a barrier filter. In such a method, an adhesive is applied onto the substrate; then, a photographic film comprising a base film and a photographic emulsion layer applied on it is brought into contact with the adhesive. The optical filter structures are impressed in the photographic emulsion layer by exposure, development and fixation. The side of the film brought into contact with the adhesive is the one that bears the photographic emulsion layer. The adhesive is then spread between film and substrate by means of a roller rolling across the film at a specified contact pressure and a specified feed rate of the roller and thus pressing the film against the substrate. A permanent joint between substrate and photographic emulsion layer is then established by the curing of the adhesive.

  • Patent number: 8330796
Abstract: The invention relates to an arrangement and a method for the recording and display of images of a scene and/or an object. They are suitable especially for the spatially perceived display of the recorded images. The problem of finding a new way of recording, with the least possible effort, images of real scenes or objects and subsequently displaying them three-dimensionally in two or more views by autostereoscopy is solved, according to the invention, in such a way that at least one main camera of a first camera type and at least one satellite camera of a second camera type are provided for the recording of images, with an image conversion device and a 3D image display device being arranged downstream of the cameras. The two camera types differ in at least one parameter; and a total of at least three cameras are provided. The invention also comprises a method for the transmission of 3D information.

  • Publication number: 20120133651
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the stereoscopic display of a scene on a grid of picture elements (pixels), based on several views that are combined according to a combination rule to form a combination image. The combination image contains only selected parts or pixels of each view. Furthermore, propagation directions are fixed, which make it possible for a viewer to see in the combination image a different selection of views with his left eye than with his right eye, which results in a visual impression of space. Starting from an original view, in which each pixel contains bits of color information and depth information, the other views are generated, with exclusively such bits of color information being determined that belong to pixels of the views which are displayed in the combination image. The determination of the bits of color information is performed with the aid of a relief card Z(x,y).

  • Publication number: 20120104637
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for fabricating objects with a structured optically effective surface for fabricating lenticular screens. The method may comprise: applying a liquid plastic layer, consisting of a plastic that will cure by the input of energy, onto a substrate, smoothing the surface of the liquid plastic layer, inputting energy into the plastic, wherein the amount of energy to be applied per unit of time is specified for different positions as a function of the structure height to be produced in these positions, so that, as a result of the energy input, different quantities of still uncured and already cured solidified plastic exist in different positions of the surface, and removing the uncured plastic whereby the remaining, cured plastic defines an optically effective structure.
