    Abstract: Three dimensional printing improvement includes an ability to automatedly segment sections of scans to provide at least one virtual solid for printing in layers. The printing can be performed remotely, such as at a location near a doctor, for rapid turn-around. Automated segmenting can include use of a protocol that may include at least a portion of a segmented solid for rapidly segmenting the scanned sections. When making solids, a first solid can be generated and sent to the printer before beginning work on creating a second solid.
