Patent number: 12138857Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods for the formation of three-dimensional objects. A method for forming a three-dimensional object may comprise alternately and sequentially applying a stream comprising a binding substance to an area of a layer of powder material in a powder bed, and generating at least one perimeter of the three-dimensional object in the area. The stream may be applied in accordance with a model design of the three-dimensional object. The at least one perimeter may generated in accordance with the model design.Type: GrantFiled: April 28, 2023Date of Patent: November 12, 2024Assignee: 3DEO, Inc.Inventors: Payman Torabi, Matthew Petros

Patent number: 12070861Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods for training a robot. The systems and methods may provide a robotic system. The robotic system may comprise a trainable robot and a sensor. The sensor may be attached to at least one physical tool. The method may comprise using the sensor to capture movement from a user operating the at least one physical tool. The method may include using at least the movement captured to train the robot, such that upon training, the robot may be trained to perform at least the movement.Type: GrantFiled: February 12, 2021Date of Patent: August 27, 2024Assignee: 3DEO, Inc.Inventors: Payman Torabi, Matthew Petros, Zhuofeng Zhang

Patent number: 10823825Abstract: A system for generating a 3D image of a scene includes a transmitter, a receiver, a scanning system and a data processing computer. The transmitter includes a pulsed laser generating optical pulses for illuminating the scene, and the optical pulses have a pulse width of less than 20 nanoseconds and a pulse repetition frequency in the range of 20 kHz to 200 kHz. The receiver includes a sensor to detect light scattered and reflected from the scene, and the sensor comprises one or more arrays of Geiger-mode avalanche photodiodes. The scanning system allows the transmitter and receiver subsystem field-of-view (FOV) to interrogate a field-of-regard (FOR) of at least 30 degrees, with update rates faster than once per 5 seconds, resolution higher than 1 million resolution elements per second, and FOR aspect ratios of 1:10 to 1:1. The data processing computer continuously generates 3D point clouds with latency less than 5 seconds, and generates alarms indicating anomalous activity within the scene.Type: GrantFiled: May 1, 2017Date of Patent: November 3, 2020Assignee: 3DEO, INCInventors: Dale G. Fried, Brandon R. Call
