    Abstract: Remote diagnoses of a vehicle comprises periodically receiving, by one or more servers, vehicle metrics transmitted wirelessly over a communication network from a remote data logger device in the vehicle. The vehicle metrics are analyzed by the server to determine at least one of i) whether the vehicle is compliant with predefined emissions standards, and ii) whether a component of the vehicle is progressing towards a failure based on predictive analytics. Results of the analysis are electronically communicated to a user by the server.
