    Abstract: Various embodiments provide a solar collecting streetlamp. The streetlamp includes a lamp top having solar collectors and one or more light sources. A post is included which supports the lamp top. Disposed around the post is a shell defining an air gap. The shell is configured to supply air from the base of the post to the lamp top. The streetlamp can include a gyromagnetic generator to help move the air through the air gap towards the lamp top.
