Abstract: The device is for preventing the casual theft of a saddle from a bicycle that has a quick-release saddle adjustment, and is particularly useful with mountain bikes. The device comprises a plastic-covered steel cable, with a loop at each end. One loop passes over the rail of the saddle, the other loop passes over the rear stay. The device includes two clips that are suitable for forming the loops in situ on the bicycle. The clips are squeezed down onto the cable with pliers. A preferred clip is 8-shaped.
