Abstract: A technological solution herein enables the supply of surveillance video corresponding to an enhanced geospatial location of an emergency service call request corresponding with the live call. Geofenced areas are established at sites corresponding to a camera view of the remotely accessible surveillance video at the site. The technological solution makes available the accessible surveillance video for sites, which is maintained in a database that can be accessed to provide enhanced location data for an emergency call as it happens. The location and video are provided to first responders or other emergency services providers at the time of the call requesting emergency services. The system and method include access to the surveillance video whenever the location of the emergency call request overlaps with a geofenced area maintained by the system and method, thereby providing first responders with additional valuable information as to what is occurring at the site.
Abstract: A panic button response system includes a panic button installed at a facility and a service provider system with a database containing location data, video feeds, and active telephones for the facility. The service provider system's server, in communication with the panic button and the database, receives an activation signal from the panic button and automatically initiates a response process. This process involves identifying the panic button's location using the database, activating available video feeds at the identified location, and establishing a telephonic connection to a telephone at the identified location. The system enhances security and emergency response capabilities by swiftly and efficiently responding to panic button activations at the facility.
Abstract: A system and methodology for identifying and responding to threatening telephone calls include a client system with VoIP or MLTS multi-line telephone extensions featuring a threat indication capability and a service provider system configured to receive threat notifications from the telephone extensions, indicating a caller as a threat. Upon receiving a threat notification, the service provider system automatically initiates a threat response process during the call, including emergency notifications to authorities, call tracing, and call recording. After the call, the system creates a voiceprint and transcript of the threatening caller. Activation of the threat indication feature on a telephone extension triggers the threat notification, prompting the implementation of the threat response process to address potential threats effectively.
Abstract: A system for enhancing emergency response capabilities by providing interactive routing for emergencies based on location data within facilities or venues. The system includes interactive maps stored in memory, each featuring floorplans and user interfaces for data input. Potential access and/or escape routes to and/or from the emergency are outlined within the maps. A server, connected to the memory storage, receives location data requests from emergency call routing services. It identifies the caller's location within a facility or venue, accesses the corresponding interactive map, and determines the most efficient access and/or escape route based on the caller's geospatial data and their proximity to the emergency. The system then updates the map with the caller's location and route information before transmitting it to an emergency responder for improved emergency response coordination.
Abstract: A system and method for providing lockdown capabilities in conjunction with emergency call location data. The system includes a server that identifies and stores information detailing lockdown features associated with various location sites. Upon receiving a request for geospatial physical location data for an emergency caller during an active emergency call, the server compares the geospatial physical location of the caller with that of the location sites. If the caller's location overlaps with a site having lockdown capabilities, the system generates a notification describing the lockdown features of the relevant location site to the caller. This innovative system enhances emergency response efforts by providing critical information to individuals in need during emergency situations.
