Abstract: The present invention relates to a disinfectant composition comprising hydrogen peroxide and silver ions in association with at least one quaternary ammonium salt with biocidal action and compatible with silver ions. The composition can be used for disinfecting a room and any objects contained therein, in particular healthcare environments, such as, for example, laboratories, doctors' surgeries, hospital rooms, ambulance compartments and the like, where it is important to have a biocidal activity at low dosages proportional to the average contamination present.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a disinfectant composition comprising hydrogen peroxide in association with at least one quaternary ammonium salt, suitable for disinfecting a room and the objects that may be therein contained. The composition is further characterized by the absence of ions of heavy metals and is particularly suitable for use in a method for the disinfection of a room, which comprises the diffusion of the present disinfectant composition in the form of a dry mist, maintaining contact with the room and with the objects therein contained, so as to obtain the desired degree of disinfection.
Abstract: A system for the disinfection of rooms and surfaces including at least one plate which can be associated with a room to be treated and equipped with a memory containing a plurality of identification data of the room and at least one diffuser device including a tank containing a liquid solution and nebulising means associated with the tank and designed to draw out the liquid solution from the tank spraying it in the space. The diffuser device includes a control unit associated with the nebulising means and which can be associated with the plate, designed for receiving from the plate a signal representing identification data of the room and designed for controlling the nebulising means as a function of the signal in such a way as to sanitise the room in an automatic manner.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for disinfecting a room and the objects that may be contained therein, or surfaces in general, including the following steps: (a) determining the volume of the room to be disinfected; (b) as a function of the value determined in step a) above, determining a volumetric concentration of an aqueous disinfecting solution delivered into the room in the form of a dry mist required for obtaining a predefined level of disinfection, said disinfecting solution comprising hydrogen peroxide and silver ions (Ag+); (c) delivering into the room said aqueous disinfecting solution in the form of a dry mist until the desired volumetric concentration is achieved; (d) keeping said aqueous disinfecting solution in the form of a dry mist in contact with the room and with the objects that may be contained therein for a predefined time, so as to achieve a desired level of disinfection.
