Abstract: Compounds represented by the formulas wherein each symbol is as defined in the specification, and a prodrug thereof have a superior renin inhibitory activity, and are useful as agents for the prophylaxis or treatment of hypertension, various organ damages attributable to hypertension and the like.
Abstract: A reel mower has a double A arm suspension that lowers a reel cutting unit into a cutting position in a tail down orientation and that levels the reel cutting unit out as it lifts the reel cutting unit into a transport position. The reel cutting unit yaws during turns about a substantially vertical axis having a negative caster angle. The suspension has clamps that can be flipped open or closed to quickly attach or detach the reel cutting unit. A drive motor can be quickly attached or detached to the reel cutting unit using a pivotal wire form. An active counterbalance system automatically offsets the increasing weight of a grass basket on the reel cutting unit to maintain quality of cut. The grass basket maintains a constant spacing relative to the reel cutting unit when the reel cutting unit pitches to improve clipping collection.

Abstract: A method of forming a heater assembly for use in semiconductor processing includes thermally securing a heater substrate to an application substrate; and applying a layered heater to the heater substrate after the heater substrate is secured to the application substrate. The application of the layered heater includes applying a first dielectric layer onto the heater substrate, applying a resistive heating layer onto the first dielectric layer, and applying a second dielectric layer onto the resistive heating layer. The heater substrate defines a material having a coefficient of thermal expansion that is matched to a coefficient of thermal expansion of at least one of the first dielectric layer and a coefficient of thermal expansion of the resistive heating layer.

Abstract: The invention relates to a particulate composition comprising: c) a particulate source of stannous chloride; d) and silicon dioxide (also referred to as hydrated silica or silica). The invention further relates to a method for improving the flowability of particulate stannous chloride by admixing silica with it. The composition of the invention has been found to give improved flow properties to stannous chloride when compared to the absence of an anti-caking agent, as assessed via methods of powder characterization detailed in the European Pharmacopoeia.
Abstract: A device includes a substrate, a semiconductor strip over the substrate, a gate dielectric wrapping around the semiconductor strip, and a gate electrode wrapping around the gate dielectric. A dielectric region is overlapped by the semiconductor strip. The semiconductor strip and the dielectric region are spaced apart from each other by a bottom portion of the gate dielectric and a bottom portion of the gate electrode.
Abstract: Methods and apparatus to compare the size of a target from the first sensor information with the size of the target from the second sensor information to determine whether an anomaly exists based upon the size comparison. In one embodiment, the size of the target from the first sensor information is affected by dielectric constants for at least one material of interest associated with the target.

Abstract: A file encrypting method and apparatus, and a file decrypting method and apparatus is provided. The method includes following steps: creating a virtual disk; the virtual disk receiving a writing request from a file system, encrypting data in the writing request; and notifying the file system to write the encrypted data into a corresponding physical disk, so that the file system writes the encrypted data into the corresponding physical disk after receiving a notification from the virtual disk. The methods and apparatuses can employ the virtual disk to encrypt data in the writing request and decrypt the data required by the reading request, and this manner achieves highly-reliable, secure and effective file encrypting.
