The parts management system is configured to receive a request for a part definition file in the parts library, identify the part definition file in the plurality of part definition files in the parts library, receive an indication of a printing of a part using the part definition file, and store an entry identifying the printing of the part using the part definition file in the database.

Abstract: An exemplary washing machine appliance includes a cabinet, a tub positioned within the cabinet, a drum rotatably mounted within the tub, a balancing apparatus configured to offset an imbalance created by articles in the drum, and a motor in mechanical communication with the drum. The motor is configured for selectively rotating the drum within the tub. The washing machine appliance includes a controller configured to perform operations. The operations include receiving a signal indicative of a speed of the motor. The operations include determining a deviation of the speed of the motor from a target motor speed and comparing the deviation to one or more threshold values. The operations include determining whether to perform a rebalancing process or a spin out process based on the comparison of the deviation to the one or more threshold values.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing a metamaterial including an electromagnetic wave resonator that resonates with an electromagnetic wave is provided. In the method, a support including a portion where the electromagnetic wave resonator is to be formed is formed, and the electromagnetic wave resonator is arranged in the support by depositing a material to form the electromagnetic wave resonator on the portion of the support. The support is formed by forming a column structure of a hydrophilic/hydrophobic phase-separated film including a hydrophilic liquid phase area penetrating through in a thickness direction, by packing a filler into the column structure of the hydrophilic/hydrophobic phase-separated film including the hydrophilic liquid phase area so as to form the filler as high as the column structure, and by obtaining the support including the filler by removing at least a part of the hydrophilic/hydrophobic phase-separated film.

Abstract: A heat protector mounted on a vehicle is provided. The heat protected includes a glass fiber that has a plate shape and includes aerogel immersed therein. Thin films are respectively bonded to both surfaces of the glass fiber, and the thin films have a larger area than the glass fiber and extend from edges of the glass fiber. The extended parts of the thin films are overlapped and folded to form a winding portion that seals the glass fiber.

Abstract: An interface for transmitting electrical power to a motor of a motor-compressor is provided. The interface may include a receptacle having a first end portion coupled with a stator of the motor and a second end portion defining a hole at least partially extending therethrough. The interface may also include a plug configured to be detachably coupled with the receptacle. The plug may include a rigid, conductive rod having a first end portion configured to be coupled with a penetrator of the motor-compressor, and a second end portion configured to be at least partially disposed in the hole of the receptacle and detachably coupled therewith. The rigid, conductive rod may be configured to electrically couple the penetrator with the receptacle, and the receptacle may be configured to transmit the electrical power to the stator.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for imaging with detectors having moving heads are provided. One apparatus includes a gantry and a plurality of detector units mounted to the gantry. At least some of the plurality of detector units are movable relative to the gantry to position one or more of the detector units with respect to a subject. The detector units are movable along parallel axes with respect to each other.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to acrylic adhesive emulsions comprising a core-shell polymeric component comprising an inner core and an outer shell containing at least one pendent functional group; a polyfunctional component capable of reacting with at least one of the pendent functional groups on the outer shell; wherein the inner core is free of functional groups reactive with the pendent functional groups on the outer shell; and wherein the pH of the emulsion is 6.5 or less; and wherein the emulsion is a fast-setting, one part, aqueous, adhesive. Bonded articles made therefrom, and methods of bonding articles using these emulsions are also disclosed.

Abstract: A tire having a tire cavity is disclosed, wherein the tire has a bi-directional pump assembly including a pump passageway having an inlet end and an outlet end, and being operative to allow a portion of the pump passageway near a tire footprint to substantially close and open the pump passageway. The tire includes a valve assembly having a valve housing, wherein a diaphragm is mounted in the valve housing forming an interior chamber, and wherein the diaphragm is responsive to the pressure of the tire cavity. The interior chamber has an inlet in fluid communication with outside air, and an outlet in fluid communication with inlet and outlet of the pump passageway. The valve assembly further includes an inlet control valve having a valve bottom positioned over the outlet and operative to open and close the outlet. The inlet control valve has a first end connected to the diaphragm, and a resilient member biases the inlet control valve into the open position.

The method further includes performing a second probing on the sample integrated circuit structure to generate a second Raman spectrum, wherein a Tip-Enhanced Raman Scattering (TERS) method is used to probe the sample integrated circuit structure. During the second probing, a second laser beam having a second wavelength different from the first wavelength is projected on the sample integrated circuit structure. A stress in a first probed region of the sample integrated circuit structure is then from the first Raman spectrum and the second Raman spectrum.

Abstract: An oil supply device includes a plurality of hollow cam shafts, cam shaft journals, and a shaft side path. The hollow cam shafts have through holes that pass in a longitudinal direction from interior to exterior thereof. The cam shaft journals are provided on every position at which the through holes are formed. Each of the cam shaft journals has a path connected with an associated through hole and is coupled with a cylinder head.
