Abstract: GPS gyro calibration methods and systems are described. In an embodiment, a ground station can receive antenna position data for a spot beam antenna from a global positioning system (GPS) platform where the antenna position data indicates a boresight direction of the spot beam antenna. GPS-enabled receiver(s) can receive scan signals transmitted via the spot beam antenna of the GPS platform, and the GPS-enabled receivers can determine signal power measurements for each of the scan signals. The ground station can receive the signal power measurements from the GPS-enabled receiver(s) and estimate a pointing error of the spot beam antenna based on the signal power measurements and the antenna position data received from the GPS platform. The ground station can then determine gyro calibration parameters from the estimated pointing error and communicate the gyro calibration parameters to the GPS platform to calibrate for gyro drift errors.

Abstract: A connector for a high amperage, AC or DC connection comprises a plug and a receptacle configured to a securely mate and lock with each other. Connector receptacles comprise a locking mechanism having a bottom latch bracket having two slots, a top latch bracket having arcuate grooves and being pivotally coupled to the bottom latch bracket, and a latching rod configured to engage a plug and having guide pins extending through the slots and arcuate grooves. When the top latch bracket is in an unlocked position, the distance between the guide pins is at a maximum. Upon turning the top latch bracket, the guide pins move cooperatively within the arcuate grooves and the distance between the guide pins is minimized and the latching rod securely engages the plug.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for monitoring and determining fuel vapor recovery performance is disclosed. The dispensing of liquid fuel into a tank by a conventional gas pump nozzle naturally displaces a mixture of air and fuel ullage vapor in the tank. These displaced vapors may be recovered at the dispensing point nozzle by a vapor recovery system. A properly functioning vapor recovery system recovers approximately one unit volume of vapor for every unit volume of dispensed liquid fuel. The ratio of recovered vapor to dispensed fuel is termed the A/L ratio, which should ideally be approximately equal to one (1). The A/L ratio, and thus the proper functioning of the vapor recovery system, may be determined by measuring liquid fuel flow and return vapor flow (using a vapor flow sensor) on a nozzle-by-nozzle basis. The disclosed methods and apparatus provide for the determination of A/L ratios for individual nozzles using a reduced number of vapor flow sensors.
Abstract: A process for uniformly distributing a pharmaceutically active particulate material in a pharmaceutically inert particulate material includes steps of providing a first layer of a pharmaceutically inert particulate material, disposing a layer of a pharmaceutically active particulate material on the first layer of pharmaceutically inert particulate material, passing the layers of particulate material through a static mixer, and discharging the blended mixture from the static mixer. The process is particularly useful for blending a low dose, high potency drug having a propensity to stick to process equipment surfaces with pharmaceutically inert particulate materials, such as diluents and/or excipients.
Abstract: A system and method for feature-based service control using Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) in an Internet Protocol Automatic Branch Exchanges (IPABX) system is described. The system and method include a new Event package and new Enhanced SIP methods to control information for various feature-based services like wakeup alarm, call forwarding, voicemail configuration, and other services provided by traditional PBX systems. A user provides input to a client device to activate or deactivate feature-based services. In response, the client device sends a message to the IPABX server to activate or deactivate the feature-based service(s). The IPABX server then notifies the client device that the feature based-service(s) have been activated or deactivated.

The invention also concerns a kit comprising such a device.
Abstract: The present invention provides a system and method for receiving incoming voice telephone calls during a dial up internet session. An incoming telephone call to a telephone line in use for a dial-up internet session may be forwarded to a predetermined telephone number. When the incoming voice telephone call is received at the predetermined telephone number, the internet user may be notified of the incoming telephone call and may be given the option of receiving the incoming call or taking other actions with the incoming call. If the internet user elects to receive the incoming voice telephone call, the incoming voice telephone call is forwarded to the internet user's computer using a protocol for establishing voice telephony over a packet-based network, such as voice over internet protocol.
