Abstract: The methods herein relate to assembling an elastic laminate with a first elastic material and a second elastic material bonded between first and second substrates. During assembly, an elastic laminate may be formed by positioning the first and second substrates in contact with stretched central regions of the first and second elastic materials. The elastic laminates may include two or more bonding regions that may be defined by the various layers or components of the elastic laminate that are laminated or stacked relative to each other. In some configurations, a first plurality of ultrasonic bonds are applied to the elastic laminate to define a first bond density in the first bonding region, and a second plurality of ultrasonic bonds are applied to the elastic laminate to define a second bond density in the second bonding region, wherein the second bond density is not equal to the first bond density.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and storage media for simulating real-world IO workload for testing a parallel and distributed storage system are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may: identify real-world data from a deployed production environment; simulate a workload by using the original directory tree structure and the original metadata from the files and replacing the original contents of the files with dummy content to create dummy files; write the directory tree structure and dummy files to a system of storage devices; read data from the directory tree structure and dummy files on the system of storage devices; and verify the integrity of the dummy files over the course of a plurality of data management processes and a plurality of data availability processes employed by the storage system.
Abstract: A process for the above ground extraction of crude oil from a solid, oil bearing material. In the process includes the step (a) of mixing a solid, crude oil-bearing material with a solvent to reduce the size of the solid, oil-bearing material and release crude oil into the solvent, step (b) of adding water to the size reduced solid and solvent mixture of step (a) to yield a mixture of crude oil+solvent+water+sized reduced solids, step (c) of passing the mixture of crude oil+solvent+water+sized reduced solids from step (b) through a cyclone separator to remove residual solids and to yield crude oil+solvent; and step (d) of passing the crude oil+solvent mixture of step (c) through a solvent stripper to remove solvent from the crude oil and to yield substantially solids and solvent free crude oil.

The first network device receives a first data packet transmitted from a terminal to a target blockchain node, and acquires an actual network address of the target blockchain node; and generates a second data packet according to the first data packet and the actual network address, and transmits the second data packet to a virtual network address of the second network device in the second private network, so that the operation overheads generated when the gateway device generates virtual network addresses for blockchain nodes can be reduced, thereby saving a storage space of the gateway device.

Abstract: An apparatus for controlling cooling of a fuel cell-based generator system is provided. The apparatus includes a first valve disposed between an individual cooling-water line of a first fuel cell system and a common cooling-water line and a first valve driver that opens and closes the first valve. A second valve is disposed between an individual cooling-water line of a second fuel cell system and the common cooling-water line and a second valve driver opens and closes the second valve. A controller determines whether a cooling-water temperature of the first fuel cell system exceeds a reference value, and opens the first valve and the second valve so that cooling-water for the second fuel cell system flows into the first fuel cell system, when the cooling-water temperature of the first fuel cell system exceeds the reference value.
