Abstract: The present disclosure provides is a method and device for accurately estimating a pose of a charging socket of an electric vehicle regardless of a shape of the charging socket, so that an electric vehicle charging robot may precisely move a charging connector toward the charging socket of the electric vehicle and couple the charging connector to the charging socket. According to an aspect of an exemplary embodiment, a method of estimating the pose of the charging socket of an electric vehicle includes: acquiring an RGB image and a depth map of the charging socket; detecting a keypoint of the charging socket based on the RGB image; deriving a first estimated pose of the charging socket based on the depth map; and deriving a second estimated pose of the charging socket based on the keypoint of the charging socket and the first estimated pose.

Abstract: A method for producing a package substrate for mounting a semiconductor device includes: forming a first substrate by forming a laminate in which a first metal layer that has a thickness of 1 ?m to 70 ?m and that is peelable from a core resin layer, a first insulating resin layer, and a second metal layer are arranged on both sides of the core resin layer having a thickness of 1 ?m to 80 ?m, and heating and pressurizing the laminate simultaneously; forming a pattern on the second metal layer; forming a second substrate by heating and pressurizing a laminate formed by arranging a second insulating resin layer and a third metal layer on a surface of the second metal layer; and peeling, from the core resin layer, a third substrate including the first metal and insulating resin layers, the second metal and insulating layers, and the third metal layer.
Abstract: A method of encapsulating an electronic component. The method includes applying a first layer of an encapsulating composition onto an electronic component from an applicator roll, the electronic component being disposed on a substrate. The applicator roll comprises an outer surface and is spaced apart from the electronic component such that a gap exists between the applicator roll and the electronic component. The gap controls the thickness of the first layer of encapsulating composition. The first layer of encapsulating composition encapsulates the electronic component on the substrate. An interface between the surface of the electronic component and the encapsulating composition being substantially free of voids.

Abstract: A steerable laser transmitter and active situational awareness sensor that achieves SWaP-C, steering rate and spectral diversity improvements by scanning a beam with a Micro-Electro-Mechanical System (MEMS) Micro-Minor Array (MMA). One or more sections of non-linear material (NLM) positioned in the optical path (e.g. as annular sections around a conic mirror or as reflective optical coatings on the MMA) are used to convert the wavelength of the beam to a different wavelength while preserving the steering of the beam. The MEMS MMA may include piston actuation of the mirrors to shape the spot-beam.

Abstract: A cementing string assembly for cementing a liner in a wellbore includes a drill pipe, a liner hanger running tool attached to the drill pipe, a liner releasably secured to the liner hanger running tool, an upper wiper plug disposed within the liner and releasably secured to the liner hanger running tool or to the liner, and a lower wiper plug disposed within the liner and releasably secured to the liner downhole of the upper wiper plug. The lower wiper plug is detached from the upper wiper plug. The lower wiper plug is releasably secured to an inner surface of the liner by a wiper plug hanging collar and is releasable from the liner independent of the upper wiper plug and without exerting forces on the upper wiper plug. The cementing string assembly prevent premature and unintentional release of the upper wiper plug while releasing the lower wiper plug.
Abstract: A server, a personal mobility communicating with the server and a vehicle are provided. The server includes a transceiver that communicates with vehicles and a plurality of personal mobility. A controller sets a geo-fence area based on a size information of the vehicles and a size information of the plurality of personal mobility during cluster driving. The controller determines driving positions of the vehicles as primary in the set geo-fence area based on the size information of the vehicles, determines driving positions of the plurality of personal mobility as secondary in the set geo-fence area based on the size information of the plurality of personal mobility and adjusts layout information for the driving positions determined as the primary and the secondary to be transmitted to the vehicles and the plurality of personal mobility.
