Abstract: A method for generating a video synopsis may include: segmenting a video file into a plurality of video fragments. The method may also include extracting moving object information from the video fragment based on a distributed computing method and determining a plurality of index files based on the moving object information. The method may further include combining the plurality of index files and generating a video synopsis based on the moving object information and the combined index file.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to beam configuration methods. In one example method, a terminal device receives a first beam from a network device, where an identifier of a reference signal sent on the first beam is a first identifier. The terminal device configures a receive beam corresponding to the first beam based on a spatial reception parameter corresponding to a downlink synchronization signal associated with current measurement, where before receiving the first beam, the terminal device does not measure or report a second beam corresponding to the first identifier.

Abstract: A modified nightvision system. The nightvision system includes an intensifier module configured to intensify received light input into the intensifier module. The intensifier module has an input side configured to receive photons of the received light and an output side configured to output intensified light resulting from the received light. The night vision system includes an added display unit proximate the output side of the intensifier module, the display unit configured to output graphical content. The night vision system includes an added beam combiner optically coupled to the display unit and the output side of the intensifier module. The beam combiner is configured to combine the intensified light and graphical content. The night vision system includes an eyepiece optically coupled to the beam combiner. The eyepiece is configured to receive the combined intensified light and graphical content and to provide the combined intensified light and graphical content to a user.

Abstract: Automatically switching between different modes of using user motions to control applications running in a computing device. For example, the computing device communicates with devices attached to portions of a user (e.g., arm, hand) respectively to receive motion-based measurement data. One of the devices is attached to a portion of the user (e.g., hand) and capable of tracking six independent motions of the portion of the user. The computing device can generate input controls for one or more applications running therein using measurements based on the six independent motions in a first mode, and using measurements based on three of the six independent motions in a second mode. Based on an indication derived from inputs, or the lack of inputs, from some of the devices attached to the portions of the user, the computing device can automatically switch between the first and second modes.

Abstract: A method is provided for testing an antenna array of a DUT using a probe antenna, the antenna array including multiple antenna elements. The method includes providing a correction table that includes predetermined correction data of differences between far field antenna patterns from different positions in a far field of the antenna array and a middle field antenna pattern from a position in a middle field of the antenna array, where the middle field satisfies near field criteria for the antenna array and satisfies far field criteria for each antenna element in the antenna array; measuring an antenna pattern at a first position in the middle field of the antenna array; retrieving predetermined correction data from the correction table corresponding to a second position located in the far field of the antenna array; and translating the measured antenna pattern to the far field by adding the retrieved predetermined correction data.

Abstract: In a method for operating an injection moulding machine in the absence of a backflow barrier, plastic melt is injected by a plasticising device into a cavity in a screw antechamber of a plasticising screw adapted to rotate about a longitudinal axis and to move translationally by a drive unit during an injection phase and a holding-pressure phase. A rotational drive of the drive unit is controlled such that a speed of the plasticising screw causes overlay of a backflow of the plastic melt from the screw antechamber back into screw threads of the plasticising screw by an opposing delivery flow as a result of a rotation of the plasticising screw due to a translational injection movement of the plasticising screw. A differential flow is established from the backflow and the opposing delivery flow and influenced at least during the injection phase by influencing the speed of the plasticising screw.

Abstract: A system for automatic product enrollment, includes: multiple visual sensors configured to capture images of a product; multiple scales configured to measure weight distribution of the product; and a computing device in communication with the visual sensors and the scales. The computing device is configured to: determine identification of the product and construct a 3D model of the product using the captured images; retrieve warehouse information of the product based on the identification; and enroll the warehouse information, the 3D model, and the weight distribution of the product into a product database. Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide an uplink access method, a base station, and user equipment. The method includes: sending, by a base station, N signals and N pieces of physical random access channel PRACH resource indication information, where N is an integer greater than or equal to 2; and receiving, by the base station, a random access preamble sequence of the user equipment on PRACH resources indicated by the N pieces of PRACH resource indication information. Based on the foregoing solution, a quantity of random access preamble sequences sent by the user equipment is reduced, and uplink access complexity is reduced.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method that includes obtaining a list of processes in an application centric infrastructure fabric, sorting the list of processes according to an amount of memory increase associated with each respective process in the list of processes to yield a sorted list, selecting a group of processes from the sorted list and collecting a respective live process core for each process in the group of processes without pausing or killing any process in the group of processes. The method includes applying an offline leak detection tool to each process in the group of processes to yield a list of leaked memory addresses for a given process of the group of processes and transmitting a message to the given process with the list of leaked memory addresses, whereby the given process calls a function to release leaked memory associated with the given process as identified in the message.

Abstract: A method and system for detecting abnormal values in an LTE network is provided: dividing measured data into a training and a testing set; defining clusters and parameters in the training set, and finding the cluster to which each point belongs using clustering algorithms; calculating a likelihood of each point based on parameters and clustering results; assigning the likelihood into an abnormal, an intermediate or a normal region according to a set warning and alarming threshold; and applying a calculated model to the testing set, the likelihood of each point is calculated and assigned to a region, thereby finding abnormal values in the testing set. The variation of data points versus time may be better understood by introducing time axes into the model, thereby multiple abnormal values may be discovered from a sequence of multiple points. The method can immediately detect abnormal values and the error rate is low.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a backplate and a flexible display panel thereof. Wherein the backplate includes a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) layer, and a graphene layer disposed on the PET layer. The present disclosure provides a backplate, which adopts a novel hierarchical structure design of graphene material, so that it realizes function of a current backplate while adding new heat dissipation functions. Compared with the current flexible display panel, the flexible display panel reduced a corresponding heat dissipation function layer, therefore having an effectively reduced thickness, and improved folding performance.
