  • Patent number: 10775751
Abstract: In one aspect, a regular expression is automatically generated based on user input for fields that are desired to be extracted from log lines. The input may be received by user through an interface provided by a machine such as a controller. The input may identify one or more fields within a log line that should be extracted. Multiple instances of potential regular expression portions may be generated based on the user input, and different portions are combined together to determine if they achieve the desired extraction. Once a complete regular expression is generated based on user input, a user may provide additional input to identify examples or counterexamples of log line fields that satisfy or don't satisfy the user's intended extraction.

  • Patent number: 10775817
Abstract: A power supply includes a power converter, a reference voltage generator, and a controller. During operation, the power converter produces an output voltage to power a load. The reference voltage generator (such as a voltage mode amplifier circuit) generates a floor reference voltage, a magnitude of which varies as a function of the output voltage error. The controller compares an output voltage feedback signal (derived from the output voltage) to the floor reference voltage to produce control output to control timing of activating switches in the power converter to maintain the output voltage within a desired voltage range.

  • Patent number: 10776831
Abstract: A method for distributing an electronic content item for consumption with advertisements is provided. In one embodiment, a content provider creates a license identifying one or more slots within an electronic content item at which advertisements are to be inserted. The license specifies one or more types of advertisements that are not permitted to be inserted into the slots, and also specifies criteria for dynamically selecting advertisements to insert into the one or more slots. The content provider securely associates the electronic license with the electronic content item and distributes the electronic content item and the electronic license to a third party for consumption or subsequent transfer to an end user.

  • Patent number: 10775290
Abstract: The present disclosure describes a compact and lightweight, radial-flow DMA designed to operate at low aerosol and sheath flowrates (on the order of 0.3 L/min aerosol flow, and 0.6-1.2 L/min sheath flow) and so as to classify aerosols including particles having sizes in the 10-500 nm range. Thus, the DMA is capable of operating at relatively low resolution (RND=2-4) to minimize both instrument volume and pumping/power requirements, while enabling size distribution measurement with the precision required for desired applications.

  • Patent number: 10774379
Abstract: This disclosure describes frameworks and techniques related to the random access of digital data encoded by polynucleotides. Digital data of a data file can be encoded as a series of nucleotides and one or more polynucleotide sequences can be generated that encode the digital data for the data file. The bits of the digital data can be segmented to produce multiple polynucleotide sequences that encode the bits of the digital data with each polynucleotide sequence encoding an individual segment of the digital data. The individual segments can be grouped together and associated with a group identifier. Each data file can be associated with a number of group identifiers and the number of segments in each group can be within a specified range. Primers corresponding to the group identifiers can be used to selectively access the polynucleotides that encode the digital data of a data file.

  • Patent number: 10776794
Abstract: A mechanism for customer service with security and privacy is provided. In a support service scenario for products or services, a determination is made based on an interaction with a customer that additional verification is needed. An authentication code is communicated to the customer via a mode chosen by the customer. At the same time, a hash of the authentication code is stored along with session and customer details. The customer is prompted to provide the authentication code and a hash of the provided authentication code is compared to the hash of the authentication code that was stored with the session and customer details. If the hashes match, it can be presumed that the agent is communicating with the correct customer and customer details are revealed. If the hashes do not match, the agent does not see any private customer details.
