Abstract: A system enables analysis of retroactively changing datasets and/or of various versions of logics. In an example, the system determines a first version of data and/or a first version of a logic and a second version of the data and/or a second version of the logic, wherein at least some of the second version of the data was retroactively added. The system determines two outputs each derived from one of a) applying the first version of the logic to the first version of the data, b) applying the second version of the logic to the first version of the data, c) applying the first version of the logic to the second version of the data, or d) applying the second version of the logic to the second version of the data. The system compares the outputs and determines one or more differences between the outputs.

Abstract: A chip capable of authenticating an off-chip debug firmware program and a debug user account is illustrated. The chip runs the secure boot firmware and executes the secure boot process to verify whether the debug firmware program in a signed program loaded from an external storage device may be executed. After the signed program is successfully verified, the chip runs the debug firmware program to execute a debug user authentication algorithm in the signed program, thereby starting a debug user authentication process. After verifying the debug user account of the external debugging tool connected to the chip is a valid debug user account, the debugging tool is allowed to use the debugging function in the chip according to the authority of the debug user.
Abstract: A technique for performing lattice surgery using twists is disclosed. Also, an error correcting code and decoder is provided that allows for error decoding of Pauli measurements performed in association with a lattice surgery operation. This allows for overall run-times of lattice surgery to be reduced. For example, some level of errors are tolerable, because they can be corrected, thus fewer measurement rounds (dm) may be performed for a given round of Pauli measurements. Additionally, a temporal encoding of lattice surgery technique is provided, which may additionally or alternatively be used to shorten run times. Also, a quantum computer layout is provided, wherein the layout includes a core computing region and a cache region. Also, protocols for swapping logical qubits between the core and cache are provided.
Abstract: An acoustic device is described and includes an acoustic sensor element configured to sense acoustic energy and produce an output signal and a threshold detector circuit including a switch having an input coupled to the output of the acoustic sensor element to receive the output signal, a control port that receives a control signal, and first and second output ports, a first channel including an analog-to-digital converter that operates at a first power level a second analog-to-digital converter that operates at a second higher power level, relative to the first power level and a threshold level detector that receives an output from the first analog-to-digital converter to produce the control signal having a first state that causes the switch feed the output signal from the acoustic sensor element to the second analog-to-digital converter when the first digitized output signal meets a threshold criteria.
Abstract: According to certain embodiments, a message bus system comprises a first client and a second client. The first client is configured to publish messages associated with a message topic to a message bus, and the second client is configured to receive the messages associated with the message topic from the message bus. The message bus system is configured to unsubscribe the second client from the message topic based at least in part on determining that a demand of the second client for the messages associated with the message topic has fallen below a threshold.
Abstract: Systems and methods may coordinate and provide bidirectional energy transfer events between electrified vehicles and other vehicles, devices, and/or structures. A power outage map can automatically be generated in response to a power outage condition of a grid power source. Both a power outage zone and a predicted power outage zone may be identified within the power outage map. A notification, alternative drive route recommendation, etc. may be sent to users of the bidirectional energy transfer system who are operating their vehicles near the power outage zone or the predicted power outage zone.

Abstract: An assembly that includes a rotating component and flexible coupling. The flexible coupling includes a flexible torque disc having a first plurality of fixing points so that it can be mounted upon a first rotatable component, in use, and a second plurality of fixing points so that it can be mounted upon a second rotatable component, in use. The coupling also includes a support ring, and mounting means so that the flexible torque disc is secured to the support ring. The mounting means restrict deflection of the flexible torque disc relative to the support ring.
Abstract: A mounting bracket lock may be configured to secure the mounting bracket of a window treatment housing to a rail of the housing. The mounting bracket lock may be slidably attachable to the rail and, when in a locked position, may prevent the mounting bracket from detaching from the rail. The mounting bracket lock may include a body that is mountable to the rail. The body may include a first portion that slidably attaches to the rail, and a second portion that receives a portion of the rail and a portion of the mounting bracket, thereby securing the mounting bracket in a locked position relative to the rail. The body of the mounting bracket lock may define one or more projections that extend therefrom, and that engage in a friction fit between corresponding surfaces of the mounting bracket when the mounting bracket lock is in the locked position.

Abstract: A load access detection method, a switch circuit, and a battery management system, relating to the field of circuit technology. The load access detection method includes: detecting a voltage at a first detection point; detecting a voltage at a second detection point; if a voltage difference between the voltage at the first detection point and the voltage at the second detection point is less than or equal to a preset voltage threshold, controlling a switch circuit to enter a pre-charging mode, and pre-charging a load capacitor in the load circuit through the battery pack, where a charging current of the switch circuit in the pre-charging mode is less than a charging current of the switch circuit in a charging mode.
Abstract: To minimize the cost of a fiber web due to the web, particularly a board web, being manufactured overly thick to compensate for loss of caliper in the reel-up, the web is made thicker just for the inner layers of what will become a parent roll. The caliper of the web is measured as or after it is unwound. A caliper curve of the parent roll as a function of the diameter of the parent roll is calculated as a function of the diameter of the parent roll and/or the customer roll. The fiber web is adjusted by changing running parameters of the production line: web speed i.e. production speed, headbox-flow, head-box consistency, coating weight of the coating paste or calender nip load.
Abstract: Techniques for receiving a voice command from a user and, in response, providing audible content to the user via a first device and providing visual content for the user via a second device. In some instances, the first device includes a microphone for generating audio signals that include user speech, as well as a speaker for outputting audible content in response to identified voice commands from the speech. However, the first device might not include a display for displaying graphical content. As such, the first device may be configured to identify devices that include displays and that are proximate to the first device. The first device may then instruct one or more of these other devices to output visual content associated with a user's voice command.
Abstract: Method, system and device for obtaining location information of a mobile device coupled to a wireless network. A request for a location of the device at a first set of times is transmitted by the mobile device toward a first function. A location of the device at the set of times is determined. In response to receipt of the request, the first function replies with an indication of location of the device at the specified times. The mobile device then performs a local tracking operation to determine a location of the device at another time. The local tracking operation is based on the location of the device at the specified times and local input indicative of motion of the device between at least one of the set of times and the other time.
