Abstract: The present disclosure describes thermal mitigation for an electronic speaker device and associated systems and methods. The thermal mitigation includes monitoring several thermal zones to determine or estimate thermal conditions in corresponding parts of the electronic speaker device. The thermal zones may include a System-on-Chip (SoC) integrated circuit (IC) component, audio components including power-dissipating IC components, and a temperature of an exterior surface of a housing component of the electronic speaker device. To mitigate thermal runaway, different throttling schemes may be triggered based on the thermal zones exceeding certain thermal limits. The throttling schemes may include reducing the amount of power supplied to the SoC, reducing audio power of the audio components to a lower wattage, or manipulating SoC cores such as by disabling one or more of the cores or adjusting utilization of the SoC cores.

Abstract: Various arrangements are presented for increasing a link margin of a wireless audio link. A short-range wireless communication link having a first physical layer (PHY) symbol rate is established between an audio source device and an audio output device. An audio stream is transmitted using the communication link, which includes a connected isochronous stream (CIS) link. A number of packet retransmissions are detected on the CIS. Based on the detected number of packet retransmissions on the CIS, the first PHY symbol rate of the CIS can be altered to a second PHY symbol rate for transmitting the audio stream.

The smart lighting device may determine whether to respond to the phase-control signal or the control instructions in messages. The smart lighting device may be configured to recognize whether it is electrically connected to a smart load control device or a non-smart load control device. A load control device may determine whether it is electrically connected to a mixed circuit or a non-mixed circuit. When the load control device determines that the circuit is a mixed circuit, the load control device may transmit phase-control signals and control instructions in messages at the same time. Abstract: A method, apparatus, and system for measuring consumption of content data having content for serially presentation is presented. The method comprises generating n random numbers, where n>0, generating a first value P1 at least in part from a cryptographic function of the n random numbers, publishing the first value P1 to a smart contract associated with a blockchain, embedding consumption monitoring data comprising the n random numbers in different temporal locations of the content data and transmitting the content data to a client device for consumption. A client device extracts each of the n random and transmits the extracted n random numbers to the smart contract associated with the blockchain. A smart contract verifies that the n random numbers match the embedded n random numbers and executes a transaction of the smart contract.

Abstract: Systems and methods for generating real-time location-based notifications are described. In some aspects, the system processes, using a first machine learning model, a real-time video stream to determine a measure of significance of an event depicted in the real-time video stream. The system determines whether the user was present at the event. Based on determining that the user was present at the event, the system processes a user profile for the user and the measure of significance of the event to determine whether to generate for the user a cryptographic token associated with the event. Based on determining to generate for the user the cryptographic token associated with the event, the system generates a notification to the user including information for accessing the cryptographic token for the user.
