Abstract: A mounting head for apparatus to be orientated, such as a camera, comprises a base, a drive contained in the base, a platform mounted on the base for rotation by the drive, a mounting module for mounting the apparatus to be orientated, mechanical fixing means on the platform and mating mechanical fixing means on the mounting module for releasably securing it to the platform, a fixed electrical input in the base, an electrical socket in the platform and a plurality of electrical connections between said electrical socket and said fixed electrical input which are maintained during rotation of the platform relative to the base; the mounting module further comprising an electrical connector matching the platform electrical socket which provides electrical connections to an electrical output in the mounting module.

Abstract: A process is disclosed wherein fruit is dispersed in a gelling agent consisting of locust bean gum and potassium sensitive kappa-carrageenan suspended in acidified water, followed by sealing the fruit and gelling agent in a container, then the container is sterilized and cooled sufficiently to set the gel.

Abstract: A system for coating a welded joint in butt-welded pipes, comprising the following stages: feeding a first component constituted by a mixture of modified polyurethane resins premixed with a high-density inert material of well defined particle size to the hopper of a screw feeder by way of a regulator valve which meters its throughput; conveying said first component in the form of a slurry by means of said screw feeder into a blade mixer where it is carefully mixed with a second component constituted by a liquid hardening catalyst in a suitable mixing proportion by means of a metering pump and by way of a heat exchanger; and finally filling a form surrounding said joint with the catalyzed mixture leaving said blade mixer.
